Browns/Packers Postgame (Finley in ICU? - pg 6)

Post#1 » by LUKE23 » Sun Oct 20, 2013 11:36 pm

Got a W, and it really was easier than I thought it would be. Defense has really stepped up. Praying Finley is OK, both in a football and general life sense. Thank God for Lacy.

Boykin is slithery as well. We can probably survive if Jones gets back, but it would be nice if Quarless or Bostick stepped up as a weapon.

First place in the North. Nuts.

I don't know if we can keep bringing up these subpar weapons (see Myles White) and praying that they are just enough to win games if Finley is done for any amount of time. Boykin played well and I feel much better about him as a player after today. Finley played great until he got hurt. Nelson was Nelson. Quarless looked awful. Bostick was nothing. I hope we find someone.

Triplette and crew can **** off. Brandon Weeden, lolz. Holmgren had to be on crack, shrooms, weed, salvia and other various drugs when he drafted him in the 1st round.

Also I have never seen someone go on and on about a wrong illegal hit call while a player is getting carted off of the field on a stretcher. If we never get Soloman Walcott for a broadcast again, it will be totally fine by me.

Be happy about the win and the opportunity to rub it in the faces of the FIBs who are now in third place. That's about all I've got coming out of this one.

Well it is only his 2nd year. At least he's still young right?

If we ever get healthy we are going to really benefit from having these younger and inexperienced players getting time. Love what I'm seeing from guys like Lattimore, Boykin, and Hyde.

I thought it was a clean hit. Led with his shoulder and Finley wasn't defenseless. Just an unfortunate injury.

Why talk about it for 10 minutes while a guy is laying on the ground? What is to be gained by beating a horse that has been dead the last 10 times you tried to flog it?

Considering that the new rule is one of the hottest topics in the game, I see no problem discussing it.

Good win. Weedon looked like poo. Why did they draft him in the 1st round again?

Hopefully Jones can come back next week and Finley's health isn't career threatening. Looking for Quarless to step up.

Defense looked good again. House was very active today.

If we can get Perry/Matthews/Hayward all back, this D will be crazy good.

Seriously! I've never felt so in pain while watching a relatively easy victory. Triplette's crew, and Triplette himself, are just an abomination. They kill any flow. Just plain painful to experience.

I think as a general rule of thumb, it should be illegal to draft a 28 year old rookie qb for a struggling franchise. Whatever he was on, I want some

not to mention both jones, cobb and the possibility of Worthy/Sherrod. Its like free agency mid season.

Anything but clean according to the rules of the new NFL. Watch league of denial and tell me the league isn't better off enforcing really tough rules on defenders that lead with the head. It doesn't matter that his shoulder made contact first because his head was down and he couldn't see what he was hitting. His head easily could have hit first if Finley had fallen differently as he was being tackled by a different player, the defender had now idea how that collision was gonna shake out because his head was DOWN. This isn't as hard to understand as u are making it out to be.

#Packers WR Randall Cobb just sped out of the locker room on a Segway.

Don't forget Jones...this defense is sick. Huge props to TT and his staff for putting together and absolutely deep young squad on the defensive side. Truly remarkable. The entire defensive coaching staff as well. They've really righted the ship and it appears Banjo has finally usurped the struggling McMillan. I'm excited to see the continued growth of this group.

Considering the fact that you disagreed with the hold on Bakhtiari even after they clearly showed it on replay, I will just ignore your comment on understanding the rules. Just because your favorite Packer was the one who was hurt doesn't change that he led with his shoulder and Finley was not defenseless. Stand back and take an unbiased opinion.
