Asik and Lin will be starting

neither Howard nor Asik is good perimeter defender

i just think it's a bad game to experiment this
because one of them will have to guard Nowitzki

knowing McHale
he will probably put Parsons on Nowitzki
and Asik on Dalembert and Howard will be on Marion
and they will let Marion shoot the 3

iirc Nowitzki has the most trouble when being guarded by tall athletic guards, so yea Parsons will work on him.

They will probably play some zone.

first quarter is going to be a disaster
team like Chicago and Clippers already playing their regular rotation in preseason
while we are still working on our starting lineup
this is the first game we have all players healthy

i'm smelling a slow start

If Asik is expected to play 30min a game, he has to start. If this big line up doesn't work, Asik won't be happy with his minutes and will force a trade.

Would like to see Jones have a nice game and move his feet a little faster. I think he's got potential for a strong post game if he can concentrate on his footwork.

I'm excited to see Dwight/Asik. In this matchup, it's funnier that I'm more concerned about our defensive matchup even more than the offensive fit.
