Nolan Ryan will cede his title as CEO of the Texas Rangers on Oct. 31.
He is also selling his share of the club, which had been reduced to less than one percent of ownership.
Ryan's stake had shrunk when he declined to participate in cash calls over the last few years. The value of his share, combined with incentives received in his contract, is worth more than $10 million.
