Took the dog to the vet to get a cleaning and a couple teeth pulled. Vet calls up later and now he needs 22 teeth removed.....bye bye money

WTF??? Holy cow. My old Chihuahua had the root of a tooth growing up in her cheek. Her cheek swelled up really big. Vet said it would be $550 to pull the tooth and while they're in there, it'd only be another $50 to pull the same tooth on the other side of her mouth since she'd probably have the same issue. I feel for ya dud.

Shem, that was a phenominal series. Brian Grant was an absolute stud. Karl Malone physically abused him and he took every blow... Literally! He took an elbow to the face in one game. That was the beginning of the end for the Utah Jazz. I really thought the Blazers were gonna take the championship that year. They should have. That was probably the most talented team Portland has ever had from top to bottom.

I remember a game against the Lakers (I can't recall whether it was a regular season game or playoff game). Kobe was the 4th best SG in that particular game. The three SG's who had a better game all played for the Blazers. That was a team to remember.

Edit: I just realized I was thinking of the year before this, 1998-1999, the shortened lockout season with only 50 games.

During Clipper home games, the Laker Championship banners and their retired numbers will be covered up at the Staples Center as we saw during the game against the Blazers last night.

The one thing I'm getting a kick out of is how the Laker fans are responding to this move:

Well said. They can change the outside, the lights, colors. But hiding banners is a bit far as they SHARE the arena. Edit: This will be the talk of the town today in LA. Especially since the Dodgers lost. It was a bad idea from the beginning to have both teams in Staples to begin with. Especially after the CP3 era began. Even though we've built that arena with rings. I wouldn't even mind if we shook that arena now and built another one somewhere else. Thats beyond disrespectful

I'm gonna say what some probably won't, the Clippers and their fanbase is probably the most insecure sports franchise I've ever saw.

Not mad at this and most will probably try to say Laker fans will be, but this is funny and shows the low level of confidence they have about playing in that building.

It ain't no problem though, the Clippers are paying us anyway....you know since a certain percentage of the Lakers is owned by AEG.
