Is it cause if you got some forearm tattoos and shaved your head you would look exactly like Napoli?

No.

Now I feel bad for Beltran. He waits 15 years to make it to a World Series and he makes it through two innings of Game 1.

Stop being bitter, Skates. It's not flattering.

Not bitter, Beltran had the chance to win it all last year if he resigned with the Giants. He'll retire without a ring now.

Since I think Joe Kelly hit Hanley on purpose in game 1 of the NLCS...me no feel bad for the Cards losing Carlos Beltran.

Woo Go Sawx. But I expect the Cards to bounce back in a big way with Wacha tonight.

I never noticed him touching the area, but I'm not sure what the substance could have been. Rosin would make sense with how cold it was, but it wouldn't be green.

Farrell is claiming it was rosin because Lester "sweats like a pig".

Good on the cardinals for not thinking anything of it. They coulda whined and complained but realized it would lead to nothing good, it was the errors that did them in last night. I know Lester pitched a good game, but everyone knows that took a backseat to how shaken the cardinals were since the first inning. If they want to bring it up before game 5 that's a smart move, but there's no use to hook on with these other yahoos thinking it was the clear difference. If I read correctly it only started to appear in the 6th inning?

That cardinal minor leaguer took down that tweet right quick. Wonder if someone in the organization made him do it.

I wasn't thinking about sweat. I was thinking it would help with grip if his fingers got cold. Either way, it would make sense if it was rosin. Vaseline would make the ball more slippery, and in the cold that would be rough.

It's after the fact now, but I am curious as to what it was.

I really like this Wacha Flacha Flame kid. He looks like he's all business when he's out there.

He reminds me of Randy Johnson for some reason, too.

Funny, I remember when Bucholz was also 'cheating'. Except his was lot more obvious and it was sunscreen.
