New ATL thread with big news like this.....

Meh. We needed to be dealing with Ernie for future assets. Ersan/Udoh could help them more than Gortat IMO.

Suns get Wiz's 2014 first. I like it for PHX.

That is a hell of a deal for the Wizards. Wonder how long before Dragic is gone.

It improves an EC team, so good.

Works for both sides I guess. Grunfield shooting for that job saving 40 wins.

Agreed on both fronts. I think Dragic to the Thunder or back to the Rockets makes sense.

Gortat has always been mediocre to me, but he's a healthy mediocre and that's good enough for Ernie. Curious to see what the pick protection looks like, but looks like a beneficial deal to both parties. That Marshall pick by the Suns, oof.

So Phoenix has Bledsoe, a lotto pick in 2014 and another first in 2014 pending protection. And they cleared the center spot for Len. Seems smart.

Losing Gortat probably guarantees a few more losses for Phoenix who was probably getting worried about the Sixers having more lottery balls. I love it for both teams actually. Both teams are essentially going further all in on their desired directions.

Good for the Suns. Looks like they've got a nice little stockpile for next year.

It's clear to me this trade is all about Slava Kravtsov.

Possibility of four 1st round picks next year. WOW!

Suns new gm isn't messing around with this rebuild. Stockpiling picks and dealing any vets that will block the young guys minutes. Hammond should be taking notes.
