Gortat Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by harshey1388 » Fri Oct 25, 2013 10:19 pm

Had some great times with him here! After a long time we had a fairly legit center! But this is the right step in the rebuild direction!

Goodbye Gortat, your time and efforts are appreciated.

Sad to see him go, but it's for the best.

Definitely loved him while he was here. It was clear Nash made him look so much better than he really was. Still a harder work and wish that guy nothing but the best!

I really like Gortat. I totally wish we would have never traded him in the first place when we drafted him. But glad we got him back. For a time, the Suns had a legit center.

Good luck in Washington, we will miss your grown ass, man. :D

Best of luck in Washington for Gortat. He has become a very good player indeed. Would've been nice to have him when Amare was around though, that's for sure.

You guys should read Gortat's tweets. Very classy. Wish him nothing but the best.

He even talked about McDonough.

Yip class act and I loved having him here.

Team first guy who was always cheering on from the bench, helping guys up off the floor and just being a leader.

The way he took Plumlee, Len and Krav under his wing was great to see.

WAS is a definite playoff team this year if healthy. Love that backcourt and if Ariza can give them solid mins at SF they'll be there for sure.

Man i remeber the excitement when we somehow did Turkoglu - Gortat trade. It was a heck of a entertaining sight to see Gortat develop that season.

Thank you Mr. G !

“I will never forget what u did for me!” Gortat tweeted about Phoenix. “U took my game to another level and made me a better player. always felt u guys were my family. I wanna say i dont have any hard feelings towards Suns front office people. Ryan is an amazing GM. He put them back on the right track. I knew its gonna happen so Im glad it happened now not in mid season.! Its still hard to leave such a great city.”
Wish nothing but the best for this guy!
