What's crazier is that if you look at the expanded BCS standings, FSU is ranked ahead of Alabama in most of the computer rankings.

If Oregon and fsu keep winning, I would expect that Oregon would probably pass the noles sometime down the road.

How each team wins will matter too.

wouldn't mind if fsu was first place, a&m's loss to miss devalued alabama's best win and clemson win still the best win among the unbeatens. alabama gets benefit of the doubt having the track record in title games, rightfully so.

i have some higher hopes this week with northwestern's free fall

I think the SEC has earned the benefit of the doubt most of the time, but Missouri going from 25 to 5 in two weeks and Auburn going from 24 to 11 in one week is crazy.

agreed. Mizzou is solid but not top 5 IMO. Better than Florida and Georgia but #5?
Auburn is way over rated. This is a team that was lucky to beat WSU at home.

Mizzou will lose this week and so will Texas Tech

oh man what a finish, great win for the hawkeyes

i'm impressed with the hawkeyes stepping up at the end after struggling in the second half

northwestern is in a serious tailspin

Canes escape, but they'll probably dip a little in the new rankings.

I don't think FSU will be losing to NC State this year...

It's basically the midseason "catch you breath" week. There's some intriguing matchups this week, but nothing has really panned out to be crazy yet.

This Duke/VaTech game is atrocious. Duke is up 6-0 in the third, but their QB is playing an awful game. Then again, so is Logan Thomas.

Duke has taken out VaTech. First win vs. a ranked team in almost 20 years.
