I really like the look of this roster, do wish they would have gotten Mo Williams. Calathas is a great playmaker, but not a good shooter at all.
Prince to me should be a bench guy with Q starting. Q is younger, more athletic, and can shoot corner three better. I also like the versatility of Q and Mike Miller, they can interchange at 2/3 depending on matchup.
I am really really excited about the addition of Koufos, guy should be a starter somewhere.
Lastly, I think this team is not done tinkering with the roster if they don't start out shooting the three well. Do we have to wait a year to amnesty Prince or is it not possible since we got him in a trade. Forgot we already have a thousand trade exceptions from last year.
Final standings 58-24 3rd seed

Re: Season Starting This Week
my enthusiasm was totally curbed after watching that Rockets preseason game on Friday but I have to keep telling myself, "it's just preseason!" but they looked awful. Seeing so much of Mike Miller just gave me flashbacks to the franchise lows before we traded him to Minny... ugh. I hope it's not a sign of things to come and just some brief growth pains going on.
I really wondered why they had the starters in so long because Koufos & Company actually played much better. Calathes looks like Steve Nash out there minus the shooting. The 2nd unit is as good as we've ever seen it but then a joke they say in New England these days with the loss of Welker, Amendola, Brandon Lloyd, Gronk, and Aaron Hernandez: "depth is great to have, unless you have to use it." A hall of fame coach's words.

Re: Season Starting This Week
Although it was preseason, I'm concern about the turnovers they had throughout the 8 games. Although the team was working out the rust and kinks, they need to iron those out before the season begins in two days.
