Ideas on acquiring a shooter?
My only concern with the Cavs is there dearth of accurate outside shooters. Houston cut Reggie Williams. He can play the three I thought that at one time he was a good shooter. Open to other suggestions based on who might be available after the final roster cuts.

Karasev is a shooter, oh and Kyrie is pretty good. But yeah, I guess they could use more.

Karasev is going to see limited minutes this year. Bennett will shoot more than he should from the outside.

I think you'll see Karasev more than you think. But yeah, we do need someone with range to play the 3.

Shooting should not be a problem for Cleveland. Irving, Waiters (spot ups specifically), Jack, Karasev, Miles, and Bennett are all more than capable. Clark and Gee should be seeing a lot of open looks, but time will tell if they can take advantage. Also, Reggie Williams shot below 31% from behind the arc the past two seasons...
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Irving is the only starter who I would be comfortable with shooting from the outside on a consistent basis.

I actually agree but we will see. We have some good shooting off the bench though and hopefully waiters improves.

Not if they feel they actually need a shooter.
Irving is obviously money, and Gee is very good from the corners. That should be enough. There are other guys like Bennett and Jack that have legitimate range too, not that you want to make a living with those guys from deep.
I really can't see this team looking to acquire a role player. Bundling multiple guys for a legitimate starter, sure, but they are loaded up with more role players than they know what to do with.

I think it's funny the first person that came to your mind was Williams....LOL, whatever happened to our boy Kapono? Anyways, I don't think we will be looking to sign a shooter whatsoever. Karasev will earn some minutes later in the year, and hey were undefeated...lol

You really need a starting Smallforward. How about Evan Turner ? He is beasting so far . Turner and Sixers 1st from the Pelicans for Bennett?

Turner is up for a big contract and he honestly has not proven it. He is also too small to play SF

We don't need another non-shooter on the floor. As it is, teams are just sagging and packing the paint. Unless Mike Brown realizes that you have to run offensive sets when your teams don't have LBJ or Kobe, it is only going to get worse.

Or maybe Kyrie and Dion just need to start hitting their shots.

Kyrie and Dion has no space because Clark/Thompson/Varejao offer zero threat from outside

Re: Ideas on acquiring a shooter?
You guys should have plenty of 3 pt firepower with Kyrie and Waiters, and both your rookies Karasov and Bennett should eventually be excellent 3 pt shooters (assuming they work out in the league).
Your problem is your best players don't play defense. Your other current problem is that your #1 pick this season looks gawd-awful, and he's hopelessly out-of-shape and with two major medical conditions which give him a built-in permanent excuse to always be in sub-NBA-standard physical condition. You also drafted him with the idea that he'd be stuck behind one of your better young players - TT. If you never intended to play him at SF, I don't see why you drafted him instead of a guy like Len or even Noel. I get not picking Oladipo because you're already loaded up with super talent at guard.

I honestly don't see much of a future for Anthony here, he belongs in college, but I feel like he will be part of a trade either this year or next offseason, he truly does not fit the mold of a PF on a team that wants to play defense and shoot the 3.
I'd love to have a guy like Patrick Patterson behind Thompson.
