Looking forward to see Kyrie play, actually...I feel like he's been getting prematurely crowned, but he certainly has the talent to be the next great superstar.

Good game to test the Nets defense especially rim defense with Irving.

Nets only a 3 pt favorite? Strange.

Be ready for a great game. I'm really excited that my boys got a chance to play on a special team.

Goodluck nets ppl. Wish you guys nothing but the best & a ring! Gonna be a great season barring health.

It's that time of the year again and it's time to assess the progress the Nets have made going into this season

LAST YEAR: Lopez was coming of his foot injury.
THIS YEAR: Lopez has noticeably bulked up and IMO is the best Center in the NBA. Nets only go as far as Lopez takes them.

LAST YEAR: DWill was grossly out of shape. DWill was said to have been out of shape at the Olympics and was visibly out of shape to everyone except for the dolts like NI. He wasnt able to beat his man of the dribble or run a fast break which lead to alot of half court ISOs
THIS YEAR: DWill had dropped ALOT of body fat and regained his ability to beat people off the dribble. Im expecting this to be his best season.

LAST YEAR: Joe Johnson tried to pick up the slack DWill dropped in his lap and carry the offense, a tough task for a player adjusting to a new team. Lack of offensive weapons forced JJ to battle vs numerous double teams.
THIS YEAR: JJ have alot more wide open catch and shoot opportunities with the attention Pierce and KG will add. This is the guy I want shooting the ball when the game is on the line. Not many teams have that guy you trust to score when the game is on the line.

LAST YEAR: Both forward positions were a Fcking mess. Wallace went from borderline all-star to a washed up malcontent who made more noise complaining to the media then on the court. Hump showed no interest in being here knowing he was going to be traded. Teletovic was a complete bust after being touted as the "Best Player in Europe". Evans played well but was overextended as a starter. Neither coach would play Blatche at PF. Stackhouse was our best option as backup SF for most of the year(UGH). It got so bad that Keith Bogans had to play out of position sliding up from SG to SF.
THIS YEAR: Forward is perhaps our deepest position. KG, Pierce, AK bring all star talent, leadership and high BBIQ. Evans is back to his more suitable backup role. Blatche will get alot more time at his more natural position. And Mirza is strictly a SCALABRINI-END OF THE BENCH player you root for in blowouts.

LAST YEAR: CJ Watson masqueraded as our backup PG. He was more concerned with getting his shot then getting the Nets into their offense. Plain and simple, he plays losing basketball which Indy will soon find out.
THIS YEAR: Perhaps the most underrated move any team made all offseason was the addition of Shawn Livingston. On a team with so many scorers, his pure playmaking skills will be fully utilized. Livingston has SG size so when DWill plays off the ball with Livingston in the same backcourt we wont lose much in size like we did with Watson. IMO his skillset is the perfect compliment to DWill and the rest of this team.

99% of the time, but for the opener and usually home opener I go local.

Who are these people?

I am a middle-aged physician who listens to Don Henley, Sarah MacLachlan, Italian opera & Les Mis.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.
