Well, it's sunday morning and GS is still employed.
Why?
This is a no-brainer, let DW take over.... the season is ruined anyway.
Why is GS still here?
The Glazers are arrogant for sure, MD as GM has not been successful, and GS has impressively "coached-down" his team.
So why is GS still here?

He has and has not. He is 0-2 in coaching hires. But he has done a pretty good job drafting and signing FA's once the Glazer's opened the checkbook. With the exceptions of the all bust trio of Brian Price, Arrelious Benn and Luke Stocker, Dominik has done pretty well in the draft. I'd like him to keep his job, but Schiano defiantly must go!
My next HC list, (not in order)
Broncos DC Jack Del Rio
Redskins DC Jim Haslett
Bengals DC Mike Zimmer
Brian Billick
Mike Tomlin(if fired by Steelers)
Bill Cowher
I think the next HC needs to be a coach with NFL HC experience. The only one on my list without HC experience is Mike Zimmer.

Don't forget Lovie Smith.
I would hate the Haslett, Billick choices

Oh ****! I forgot Lovie Smith. And he has been in the Bucs organization before. Why would you hate Haslett or Billick?

Billick is something of a blow-hard, who was blessed with great and stable talent in Baltimore. But that's not the reason....I just think he has been out of the league too long, and usually those guys never can recapture their previous success.
Haslett is the perfect example of a guy that is a good coordinator but not that good of a head coach. His teams at NO were notoriously self- destructive at in-opportune times.
I would like to see the Bucs go after Lovie Smith or Tomlin should he get canned.

Right on. With you reminding me about Lovie, he is now my #1 choice. I just don't get what the Glazer's are waiting on with the firing of Schiano.

Re: The Schiano countdown thread
Smith is a class act that is respected by peers, players, and media alike.
81-63 career record, one COY award, one Super Bowl
He was fired after going 10-6 in his last season with the Bears. (7-1 start).
Hire him.
Now if the Glazers would pull their "namby-pamby" fingers out of their you-know-what, then this is a no-brainer given the talent that is on this team. It wouldn't take him long to make this team at minimum......respectable.

Well, this thread will likely have to ride it out for much longer.
Schiano did his radio show tonight. So I guess he's not going anywhere.

I really don't understand what the Glazer's are waiting for. Haven't the fans, and town of Tampa been embarrassed enough this season?? I'm not saying IHC Wannstedt would bring multiple wins, but Schiano has done so much damage, why keep him? He has singled handily made us the Yucs again.

Re: The Schiano countdown thread
The whole coaching staff needs to be fired ASAP. The story that came out that McCoy was yelled at by an assistant for helping an opponent get up is ridiculous. Fire every single one of these bozos, pretending to be real coaches.
