I was listening to sports radio this morning and the perception is that Dipo had a horrible time running the point in the preseason. What kind of fabricated non sense is that?

A little extreme I would say but yes she should have played much more in the 2nd half.

Interesting...

To understand why Vaughn wanted Nicholson in against Scola, let’s flash back to last season. According to NBA.com’s StatsCube, Nicholson made all six of his shot attempts when he faced Scola last season.

Also, I may be the only one that doesn't mind Nicholson getting benched. We all know he has a polished offensive game considering his experience, but we also know he needs to improve A LOT on defense. Vaughn is basically telling him you can score all you want, but it's all for nothing if the opponent is scoring on you at will, too. If Nicholson is a true competitor, this will make him want to improve even more on the defensive end, which could pay off for us in the end.

Can't wait to set it on fire.

Evidently, the person giving them away to my friend was a persona assitant for Dwight Howard. My friend got Jerseys, shoes and shirts.

HAHAHAHA! The lady can't even sell them, so she has to give them away!

JV is no tank commander, at least not a self aware one.

His coaching flaws will ruin his reputation and any chance of coaching another team later in his coaching career. There are no excuses for the flaws we've witnessed

He had a poor contest on a West made jumper and a bad foul just before Vaughn took him out.

Whether his defense was bad or not, his 18 points got us back into the game. You also don't bench a young player when he's shooting 90%, give him his due time.

I'm not saying it was right to take him out. I think JV over-thought the situation and made a mistake. I'm just saying the overreaction to it on this board was way over the top.

Aren't you guys afraid this team is going to be too good this season? The team has a lot of young talent who seems to have already made some strides, and Afflalo & Nelson are very solid players. Or maybe it's a dumb question, and you want to see them win (make the playoffs) this year. The team may not has a young guy with superstar potential, but it has a handful of potential future all-stars. I think that last big piece from that draft wouldn't hurt though.
