Lakers have alot of guys that I liked into the draft (e.g. Henry, Wesley Johnson) that have been busts up to this point. It will be interesting to see if any of these guys are late bloomers. By all accounts, Henry had a great camp and it carried over into last night it appears. They look like garbage on paper but watching them last night they just had a way of being scrappy and hanging around. And if Gasol stays healthy, him and Kamen gave them size that has some offensive skills.

As long as he's not on my team, Nick Young is gold to watch by the way. Guy just makes me laugh all of the time.

Yeah Nick Young needs drinking games dedicated to him. Henry could still make it IMO. Not as anything special but he has enough tools as a scorer maybe. Wes Johnson is Ersan's age* and still sucks. He's a pretty massive bust.

His jumper has fallen off planet Earth though, perfect time to coincide with him thinking he's prime Ray Allen.

62% TS with Melo

He took on a bigger role in the offense. With higher volume, often comes a decline in efficiency, for obvious reasons. He was still very good at .584, while also scoring 2.6 points more per game. And oh yeah, he was 5% worse from the FT line in 2012, did Melo's absence have something to do with that? So some of that decline was due to just pure variance (...or Afflalo not working as hard on shooting after getting paid)

Do you think Harden was worse last year because his TS dropped from 66 to 60?

The notion that Melo got someone else paid is hilarious. Was Melo responsible for Jeremy Lin busting out and getting a big deal? Or was it the exact opposite of that?

Yeah, it's over for Wes Johnson. Henry absolutely has a chance to "make it".

Johnson looked utterly lost on the court last night. Agree, he's done.

The Nets are going to be fun as hell to watch this year.

76ers should end the season now. Doesn't get any better than this.

They aren't set up that well for long-term success but they absolutely have a shot at the title this year.

This year and next year they could be extremely tough even with all their age. In 2015-16, they have 63M tied up in only Deron, Johnson, and Lopez. Ouch.

De Colo inactive, Patty in before Joseph. Pop giving the people of the world just a little taste of what they want to see.

Micheal Carter-Williams flirting with a QUADROPLE double in his first game.

It's not going to happen, but these numbers are ridiculous...

20 pts. 12 asts. 9 stls. 7 rebs. Still a little time on the clock.

Wow. He'd look good in a Bucks uni right about now.

MCW is having, what I have to believe, one of the best debuts in NBA history.

Apparently the only player in NBA history to debut with a Triple Double was none other than Oscar Robertson.

You know, if it wasn't for Dan Gadzuric there was this guy that would have got a triple double on debut...
