Ugly fourth quarter. I don't care that kd is the best scorer in the game, you have to at least involve other players at some point. That was he Scotty brooks I was expecting to see and it's disappointing.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Re: Thunder/Jazz: FINALLY!
Can't argue with you spearsy... I was hoping for a little more offensive sophistication, but it just wasn't there. Seemed like the same pin down screens for Durant the entire time with occasional screen and rolls.
However, I do have to give Brooks a little credit, I liked his rotation more than I was expecting to. Fisher also played well enough to make me a little more confident in him as backup PG.

I agree to an extent, but think some of the lack of sophistication has to be due to lack of a great deal of prep for Jackson compared to if Westbrook was available. Also, I don't think Fisher would have had as many mins (at least a few less) if Jackson didn't get 2 fouls early. I did like the rotations more (still don't like Perk starting but w/e), so thats some growth.

Agreed... I don't see how he can average less than 35ppg with Westbrook out. This wasn't a particularly good or aggressive game for him, and still he gets to 40.
I think the 24 FT's say it was an aggressive game for KD. He was attacking and getting hammered most of the night. He was the benefactor of one or two iffy/borderline calls, but most of the trips to the FT line he received last night were legit. He did miss a few should've been and-ones that he normally makes, but I do think he was very aggressive last night in spots.
I think we're going to see him have some rough, 9/24 type shooting games for the first week or two without Westbrook as he goes through the feeling out process of playing off of the other guys in a role w/o Westbrook; but once he gets in a groove (and remember, he got off to a pretty slow start last year...think it took him until game #9 or game #10 to score 30+ for the first time on the season) we may see him put up some 50+ point games until Russ gets back.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:
