Im just going to skip over playing Frye over Gortat because that is Ludacris and go on to say Markieff Morris can do everything better than Frye.

Frye was 7/4 on 37% shooting in preseason.

Markieff was 9/6 on 48%

Then lets not forget Plumlee who was 6/5 on 48%

We have no need for Frye. We have young players with potential that we need to develop. Frye is on the decline and would be best used on a contending team as a back-up center or PF.

I don't think Frye even has room as a back-up on our squad with

Kieff/Plumlee
Gortat/Len

Only way I would want to see Frye in the rotation at all is if we trade Gortat. Other than that I don't want to see him taking minutes from anyone.

If you're referring to the Kevin Pelton chat, I think you're glossing over the words "starting point" and "negotiations". He wants 8/9, so he asks for 10.

We're talking about a guy who may very well record a 12+/5/5 season with great defense in 2014. It's best to start entertaining his thoughts now.

No way a couple mill here or there detours this signing. Bledsoe is a baller and was the prime target for McDo this off season. He's ours. You dont waste the positive PR from his acquisition by letting him slide elsewhere. Only Bledsoe grumbling will cause his departure.... and I think/hope he will like it here. Give him the reigns and giddyup

I change my stance. I would be ok with anything under $11 million/yr for Bledsoe.

I'd be comfortable with somewhere in the $8-9m range. We paid Dragic $7.5m flat because we know what kind of player he is and that likely won't significantly change. Bledsoe, on the other hand, is younger, way more athletic and still has a lot of room to grow.

Yea I actually think it might be a good idea to get locked down now instead of waiting.

8-9 milliion is fair, 10 million is a bit of an overpay I agree.. However someone like Jrue Holiday is making 11mil per. So..............

One game does not a 45 million dollar contract make.

.....but if he keeps playing like this, pay the man.

By your logic we would end up paying MORE for him once he hits RFA.

So if you want to pay less you have to sign him now for anything 7-10 million. In RFA if he keeps this up he can get 10-13 million.

I'd rather pay him 10-13 knowing he deserves it than 7-10 not knowing he deserves it.

He'll be asking for more than 13 if he drops a 20/5/5 season before the Suns sign him long term.

Hate to be that guy but even if Bledsoe doesn't resign after hitting RFA, at least we didn't give up a lot for him...
