Duncan might not be playing due to some chest thing? < not sure yet.

We Got This Either Way! :) :)

Let's Go Lakers, Let's Go!!

Edited: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/23 ... -Contusion

I'd rather beat a good team at their full strength, rather then hoping their main players get injured/illness < hope TD can play < we almost always beat spurs or the very least close games
My Go Team
Magic, Jordan, Pippen, Duncan, Shaq

My Counter
Stockton, Kobe, Bird, Rodman, Dirk

Today's Team
Luka, SGA, Tatum, Giannis, Wemby

The key to beating this Spurs team will be based on tempo control. They're going to attack us with the 3, so we have to stay close to their shooters.

Rebounding will be a factor too. We have to keep the Spurs out of transition. I like our chances in this game, we saw our high as a team than saw the low in Oakland. Now we must see the middle ground, can we grind out a game ?

QFT....that's why any team beating us now should at least realize they're not facing the real Lakers yet. But if you read these other teams boards on game nights you can tell they'll take a cheap a$$- watered down a$$ victory any way they can as long as it's the Lakers.

I believe in facing a team head up, if you can't beat them at full strength then you don't deserve to win.

Yay thread is up early... Thanks Deep!

Random off topic question for you guys... Would Jimmer Fredette be an improvement over Stve Blake at shooting guard? I'm thinking "no" but I'm so tired of seeing Steve Blake in a Lakers in spite of the fact he's a great guy and all that.

Will be tough even if Duncan is out. Our bench should play better at home and they'll definitely be looking to redeem a terrible game at GSW. LET"S GO LAKERS!

Why not start Kaman and Gasol together? Williams has been awful and shouldn't even be in the rotation, let alone as a starter.

D'antoni's dream lineup is having one big with four capable 3 point shooters

Let's go Lakers!!!
Controlling the tempo and rebouding will be key.
Another key will be transition D. As long as we're chucking up 3's every other time down the floor, there will be long rebounds and run outs by the Spurs.
Someone will need to get their butts back on D to slow down their running game.
Another thing that may help is more Farmar earlier. I think he has the speed to at least stay in front of Parker a little bit.
Parker will eat up Nash and Blake early on in the game.

- We need to be doing this every game LOL ... Not just against the spurs
- I love it how you say someone needs to get back on D < They all need to get back on D
- Farmer and maybe Young should start in the back court, rather then having Nash/Blake < need the speed against Parker < not that Parker is fast but lol.

i always prefer putting big 2s on SG like kobe or henry cause like yesterday, small 2s like blake and meeks will almost always get raped by good 2 shooters (klay and not so hopefully danny green)

i think our starting lineup should be nash/farmar - henry(kobe when healthy) - young/henry (when kobe is healthy) - hill/kaman - gasol
our backups should be farmar/blake - meeks/henry - johnson - hill/williams - kaman

just my personal opinion though

I think we can win this. Nick Young's bound to have a good game right?
