Westbrook and Rose are pretty much on the same level as basketball players, the only real difference is Westbrook gets underated while Rose get way way overated.

Yep WB and Rose are on the same tier. Rose is the smarter player which is what separates them but he is also an inferior defender, injury prone, and mentally soft.

Hmm...I actually rank Westbrook ahead of Rose, but it's really hard to comfortably say that without having seen Rose play basketball in over a year, up until now. I know one thing, this year should be a good measuring stick on where those two stand given both are coming back from injury.

I like Westbrook's defense a lot more than Rose's even pre injury but I'd be a fool to take Westbrook over Rose. Rose is a face-of-franchise player. Westbrook is a star but...not like Rose. Perhaps it's because he's overshadowed by Durant.

Yeah well that's a good point. It's pretty difficult comparing an Indian to a Chief. Greater load, greater responsibility, more defensive attention.

Switch Westbrook over to The Bulls and I still say he takes them places though....so if Rose does hold the edge, I wouldn't say he's THAT much better.

You know what? You're right. A bit of an exaggeration of me to say "I'd be a fool". I guess comparing what ifs to what's proven caused that. They do have similar skill sets...Although westbrook is alsp the better 3pt shooter. I completely forgot about that.

Bulls Fan here. If we are talking about Pre ACL Rose Bucher has a valid point due to Age. Now i wouldn't bother getting into a debate about this atleast until the end of the season and see where Rose is at.

Maybe he would have a point if Lebron wasn't 2x better than Rose and was built like a tank unlike Rose who is made out of glass physically and mentally.
