anyone know if they are doing anything special tonight for 1st game of 25th season? I saw they painted a bunch of stuff silver as the color signifies our 25 years I guess.

Wondering if the first 1-2,000 people might get something sweet!

I'll be there early on that note lol

Yeah I just saw that too. Well Andrew and Kyle certainly benefit from this happening. I wish Solomon well in his recovery. He was very solid for us in the game against the T'Wolves.

I'm pretty sure NBA teams (and even NFL teams for that matter) can't cut injured players. The NBA used to grant teams injury waivers to permit a team to sign more than 15 if the team's injury situation qualified (I have no idea what the qualifications are). I think MN experienced this last year with all the injuries they had.

I'm with everyone else and hoping that: a) the Magic can get a waiver to add a roster spot; and b) that Osby fills that spot.

We cut mike Wilkes a few years ago after he tore his acl. I don't think jones becomes guaranteed until January anyways..

This new technology that was installed in ALL NBA arenas over the offseason is off to an amazing start. I wanted to make sure everyone knew about it and had a look.

6 cameras in the rafters track every players' move. They measure speed, distance traveled, efficiency, and all sorts of crazy things.

An interesting thing I saw. Vucevic is grabbing only 55% of available rebounds compared to others in the 70's. Imagine if he gets more efficient.

Jameer leads the league in drives to the basket, but is shooting just 33% on those drives.

I would, but with Halloween last night and being out since 6:30am this morning and won't get home until 7-7:30pm, just no time. I can always throw up a quicky if people want me to tho.

Thats great...Good find. Its early in the season to so those numbers are bound to change.

I was just reading about the jazz not being able to extend Hayward. Would anyone here give him 4/50? I don't think I would. Not worth it IMO. Which leads me to my question for you all... If they re-sign him to what they just have favors, they still have burks and kanter to extend. I would think they value kanter more than burks. Would you trade moe for burks straight up? This is provided we don't land wiggins, and get Parker or randle or Gordon.
