Frye should be a starter over Markieff IMO.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

So now that Markieff is back, what are the rotations and who doesn't play?

In our system it doesn't matter. They are both just starting guards. No need to switch anything.

7 players accounted for 224 of the 240 minutes our guys played the other night. I doubt anyone is getting bumped from the rotation, probably just a few less minutes for the guys who played 25-40 during the opener.

Yeah, that was my guess, too.

I didn't realize only 9 players got minutes the other night (sure felt like more). Even so, it's hard to imagine Hornacek consistently playing a 10 man rotation. In this league, it's tough to find 10 guys minutes on a nightly basis. Guess we'll see, though.

Thank God Gentry is no longer running this team. I hated the whole idea of a whole 2nd unit. Stupidest thing ever.

8-9 man rotation is amazing.

Our 5 man bench mob from our last playoff run played amazingly well, didn't they? Pretty sure they won us a ton of games when our starters weren't playing well.

It's nice to have a deep bench, but to play a 10 man rotation consistently is unrealistic. I can't name many playoff teams that have done that and been successful (see: won it all). Most successful teams have 8 strong players and 2 that can fill in when needed. The back end of the bench should only see garbage minutes.

The two unit thing worked once, and it did so because almost all of our players played for each other, and happy when the team won.

We don't have the need for two units since we always have a starting guard on the floor.

I'd agree that Frye may be a better fit in the starting lineup then Morris.

Having two 7 footers (one in the paint who can run the pick and roll and one on the perimeter who can knock down a 3) could be really disruptive.

I'd also agree that our rotation probably won't change. As mentioned Dragic, Plumlee, and Bledsoe logged 40 minutes. That's got to change. I'd like to see each get 5-6 minutes less and the majority of that can be picked up by Keiff. Also wouldn't mind to see Goodwin and Len get some more time.

With utah's terrible guards this will probably be a suns win.
