First of all, its one game. Second of all, plus-minus is the most useless stat in basketball.

Not necessarily, it tells you what players impacts the game more significantly than others. For example with a two way player, his +/- is gonna higher than someone whose one dimensional. A hustle player like a Chris Anderson could swing the momentum back into his team's favor and this his +/- will be higher than someone like a Michael Beasley

I understand how plus-minus works. In theory it makes sense. In practice it doesn't, especially in basketball which is often called a "game of runs." For example, Chris Anderson could play great in every minute hes in the game but the other team may play even better which means Anderson ends up with a negative plus-minus. There are just way too many factors that come into play that skew the plus-minus stat. Again, the eye-test trumps all.

I'm not really comparing situations, its funny because I don't see anyone when George signed his extension "Clarity is a moron lol."

As for George situation, no doubt LA would be a lucrative, but the thing is Max guys like him always stay for the 2nd contract. Lebron stayed, Amare stayed, Dwight stayed. I don't know why that was so hard to understand.

Why would I be a moron for thinking a dude w/ 1 year left on his deal would be heavily interested in potentially being the new face of the Lakers in media market #2 where he just so happened to grow up & love that team & himself stated last year he was interested??. How in anyway is that comparable to wanting to trade a near All Star 22 year old big man 5 years away from his prime w/ 2 years left on his deal for no reason?

Neither of us is named Paul George we can only go off what he said & what the situation was. You are absolutely right about guys going 2 contracts deep usually but situations like being the new face of the Lakers dont come often & didnt to Lebron, Amare or Dwight.
