Not bad at all...

Hopefully Smith doesn't shoot as much like tonight very often...

its a good front line but Smith is the wildcard. He always shoots from deep like that atleast every 3-4 games.

The thing is, Smith starts out decently efficient and doesn't stop after that. Which really hurts us. He lacks that bball IQ of when to stop shooting instead of driving or passing. He'll get better.

But so far, our spacing issue doesn't seem to be that much of an issue. And that's with Jennings out.

I don't mind him taking 3's if he is wide open. I absolutely love what Smith does on the defensive end.

The trio is fine like most expected.

Now if only Monroe can fix his stone hands and Bynum gets banished from the game of basketball we might be on to something...

I didn't even mind Smith's 3's that he took tonight. He a couple big ones and most of them were good looks. It wasn't those shot attempts that killed us, it was all the bonehead plays we made down the stretch.

When Jennings comes back, when Bynum gets traded, there will be ALOT less stupid shots taken (hopefully!)

Jennings should make a huge difference. He is going to lead our team in assists and 3's.

Probably scoring, too.

Probably steals, too.

What position do you want to target with our trading pieces? Stuckey, Bynum, Villanueva, Jerebko.

Singler too. Mitchell and Datome too if we like Jerebko and Singler.

We should shop Stuckey and Bynum ASAP. Like TOMORROW. lol

All we need is a competent backup SF and PF who can defend. I'm fine keeping Stuckey around if he can keep playing like that but I would love to package Bynum/CV/JJ for a solid backup SF to replace Singler. Someone like Ariza.

Jennings is a chucker too but he can actually hit his shots and stretch a defense

Billups and Siva is more than adequate behind Jennings

I think Singler / Datome can back up the 3 so one of them needs to be kept and one traded.

That being said, Id want improvement in the following areas in order of importance.
- starting SG
- backup 5
- backup 4

Ideally I want Stuckey and KCP covering the SG spot so we can use our assets (Datome/Singler, Bynum, Jerebko, CV) to grab solid backup PF/C's

My dream is to go after Afflalo but only if we give expirings not if we have to give up picks or KCP

Jennings/Pope combo= :)

Billups/Stuckey combo = :)

C - Drummond / Monroe / Harrellson
PF - Monroe / Smith / Jerebko / Mitchell
SF - Smith / Singler / Datome / Mitchell
PG - Jennings / Billups / Bynum / Siva
SG - Caldwell-Pope / Stuckey
6th - Stuckey
7th - Singler(i really want Datome to breakout)
8th - Billups
9th - Jerebko

Starting to think we only need to make smaller trades... Villanueva, Bynum, Jerebko

Find a backup PF/C that can defend. Unless we wanna make a move for a star player I just want cap space to resign Andre and Greg(or spend elsewhere).

I've been wanting Afflalo back for a long time. His value might be going up now. He is holding off Oladipo.

Despite what everyone says on the boards I dont see any team being able to offer expirings plus an asset for Afflalo and Big Baby Davis. I said I wouldnt throw in KCP for Afflalo straight up but add Harkless and Davis and ill bite.

Pistons Trade: KCP, Stuckey, Datome

Pistons Receive: Harkless, Afflalo, Davis

I made another trade where Jameer is included as a salary dump enabling us to send Bynum back in return to save them money but even if we keep it simple we would be set rotation wise with the above trade:

Jennings -- (Billups / Siva)
Afflalo -- Singler
Smith --- Harkless
Monroe --- Jerebko / Mitchell / CV
Drummond --- Davis

I think the Wizards will be desperate to dump Nene any way they can.

KCP, Stuckey, Bynum, Jerebko
for
Nene, Beal

Jennings --- Beal --- Smith --- Monroe --- Drummond
w/ Billups, Singler, Datome, Mitchell, Nene off the bench

Thats the worst trade proposal I've seen in recent memory... I recommend deleting it before everyone laughs at you.

Honestly I don't even think there's much to gain for the Pistons to make that trade, but I see no reason at all for Washington.

Our frontcourt is already set and can't afford no Nene at 13 million just to be our backup. Plus no telling if Beal is even going to be a better SG than KCP, who already looks like the better defender, and whose offensive game was just as good as Beal's coming out of college and could very well develop into just as good in the pros.

For Washington though I have no idea why they would just dump their starting Center and 3rd overall pick from last year just to gamble on an 8th overall pick from this year.
