I'm interested to see how Belinelli, Baynes and Ayers fit in this year and how having Belinelli on the roster affects Manu's play. The two seem to have great respect for each other and maybe that will help push Manu to have a nice comeback year.
Also, I hope no one burns themselves out trying to make up for last year too early. There is a lot of basketball between now and the playoffs.

Caught Bulls-Heat and Clips-Lakers. Didn't bother with Pacers-Magic, even though I have two players on my fantasy league team (George and Tobias Harris).

Miami looked great. Just locked in defensively. No Oden or Super Cool Beas sightings though. Rose looked rusty, which was to be expected. Dunleavy was horrible. Booz had a great offensive night, but the Bulls still look like they're a legit scoring threat away from being on Miami's level.

The Lakers played really well. Gasol was down low early and looked like he was going to have a huge night. Same with Redick, he was lights out early on.

Can't believe the Heat lost to the 76ers that's just embarrassing.

Evan Turner and MCW looked awesome. Started the game 19-0, even though Heat took control like 12 minutes after. It is B2B for Miami anyways and no Wade. You can just see the difference in energy level. 76ers was amped up.

Klay Thompson 38 points! Got him on my fantasy team!

Caught second half of Pistons-Wizards. Damn Monroe is a beast. I like what Gortat gives the Wizards as well.

Rose has looked pretty rusty so far but he came up huge last night.

He hit the game winner but he didn't really have a good game overall. It's going to take a while to clear the cobwebs that have built up over his 18 months being out. There are flashes of his MVP self but he clearly needs time to get back into it. This is why there was no point rushing him back for the playoffs last year.

Nets-Heat was a great game. A lot of intensity for an opening week game. Obviously these guys don't like each other. Heat 1-2 out of the gate.

Philly 2-0.

How about the Twolves opening up a can on OKC? Game was never really close. Rick Adelman will have them in the playoffs if they stay healthy.

If they stay healthy they're going to be dangerous.

How about Bledsoe's shot against the Jazz?

That was either really ballsy or really stupid.

Brett Brown for COY? I can't believe that Philly is 3-0.

Beat Bulls and Heat...tank fail.

Caught Memphis-Mavericks. Good to see Blair get quality minutes. He is a hardnosed player but man is he boneheaded at times, which is why I guess Pop benched him. The Mavs commentators were saying that DeJuan has the game vs us penciled in, apparently its December 26. I wish him well but he's a bit simple me thinks.

Philly will level off. Even some of the guys on their forum are saying "Ok, ok nice job! Now start losing some games!" It's great to see MCW playing like this but I can't believe he will keep this pace all season.

Hinke must be happy.

GS looked outstanding in that game. That team scares me.

They've looked great so far. Healthy Bogut, and the addition of Iggy to shore up their D. I didn't like that they lost Jack but it doesn't seem to be fazing them much at this stage. They're a real threat.

So are the Clips. Dropping 137 on the Rockets?! Are you kidding me? They scored 59 in the second quarter!

Id rather these teams look like beasts in November instead of May. I'm more worried about the Clippers than GSW. GSW lives and dies by the three and that will only get them so far.

With Klay Thompson and Steph Curry on your team, that might get you pretty far. They only need to catch fire for a playoff series and it's over. We saw that nearly happen firsthand in last year's playoffs.

Then you add in Iggy, Lee, Barnes and Bogut and you have a very dangerous team that can do much more than just drain jumpers. Keeping everyone healthy is going to be their biggest problem though.
