Lambo is showing the signs we need him to which is nice, but still, we need Russ back!

Also, does anyone think we could use DeMar DeRozan???

The Sad reality is that the Thunder are not even able to add a $2 million contract.

Lamb is the guy. Between him and Jackson (once Russ comes back) they have to replace Harden/Martin.

I wonder if Scotty Brooks has thought about putting Fish in w/ the Starters to give the second unit another scorer next to Lamb.

DeRozan wouldn't fit well into this offense. He's not the greatest iso player in the world and at his current (3-game + preseason) improved level, he's a 33% 3pt shooter.

That's not what the team needs from the 2. He's basically a poor-man's Rip Hamilton, or maybe a more athletic, weaker-skilled Washington Rip at this stage. That won't much benefit the Thunder. Lamb is actually producing at a level fairly similar to this year's DeRozan right now, just in fewer minutes. Not really much reason to make that move, since Lamb is younger and has a more promising handle/dribble-penetration skill set.

Agreed.

I actually like DeRozan as a player but it wouldn't work cap wise and he is not worth pursuing - had just heard a few rumblings from writers on twitter and though I would see what the fans thought.

Russ is back tonight and he looked decent - will only get better. Plus I think Lamb and Reggie looked a lot better and seem to gain a bit of confidence from having Russ out there.
