Isn't this the definition of getting shook? He misread the play because Cole had a solid hesitation before the cross, and was out of position when Cole rejected the screen, leaving him wide open. That's getting shook.

It's sad how much trouble some fans are having dealing with such a small thing

LMAO, seriously? That wasn't even good "ICE"ing, which, yes, I understand just fine. The Bulls don't want Norris Cole attacking their big unimpeded, which is what Miami had before Rose tripped. You want to corral the ball-handler into the baseline, but that's not what happened on the play. Rose jumped early, because he bit on Cole's fake. That's getting shook. Period.

It's not a coincidence that he gets shook just far enough to block out the screener from picking him. You could say he overplayed the situation and tripped but he was going to make that motion towards the screener regardless. Even if Cole went the other way, Rose would have still tried to seal off the screener first and then try to trap him in the corner.

This is just getting into semantics to be honest. I'm saying Rose overplayed the situation--he jumped out harder and earlier than he needed to. And I'm saying he did because he bit on Cole's move. If you disagree, I guess whatever, but I think it's pretty obvious that the Bulls D was in a bad way before Rose tripped, that wasn't going the way it was supposed to if not for the trip.

You can never safely say someone got shook when there's a screener IMO. :D

Most hops in the NBA.
I know some of you might say lebron can this but most times lebron head at rim dunks are camera angles besides the alleyoop miss he had against Portland

Yeah, it's silly that people are still defending that. My favorite response was that it was a "defensive scheme" by the Bulls.

Now to break it down, Rose falling down doesn't really matter, it's the fact that Cole made Rose go the wrong direction (in other words shook him). Again, that is all that encompasses a cross over.

The most overrated crossover in NBA history was actually much more mellow than this, and yet people are denying this new one.

edit: ofcourse Bulls fans won't like either of them, for obvious reason.

I couldn't figure out it was Nate Robinson until the end...damn I'm an idiot. The only hint I somewhat picked up on was the jumpshot. Recognized his form but wasn't sure.

They're getting a little old but nice touch to get also a pro WNBA player into it.

Basically Blake Griffin went to the spot to inbound the ball (which happened to be around 2 feet away from Jackson) and he basically nudged him out of the way. Jackson felt disrepected and talked to him a few times during the game about it until it escalated to this.
