Not at all, even with a mid-first pick in this draft we can get a young big with lots of upside. Power forwards are fairly plentiful in most drafts.

I always think there's potential to land Monroe from DET, not so sure GSW gives up Barnes for TRoss but the pick helps and the addition of Igoudala makes him a little more dispensible. Would certainly love if either went through.

I actually love the idea of trying to hit a trade for Harrison Barnes. GSW needs depth in the baddest way, and I think the cost would be higher then Tross. More like Lowry/Ross/Novak NYK 1st for Harrison Barnes/filler. I'd do that in a second though. Even if it's not Ross and someone like Amir, I love the guy but you pull the trigger on that right there.

If Golden State was smart, they'd do it. That trade adds depth onto their roster, adds 2 3-point shooters and a solid back up point guard in lowry.

Toney Douglas has given them complete garbage minutes.

Curry/Lowry
Klay/Ross
Igoudala/Novak
David lee/ Marreese Speights
Bogut / Jermaine O'neal

..I'd still ask for Amir, if I were them though. Barnes is going to be wicked.

We say getting a powerforward is easy, yet we dont have a starting quality one. And we haven't had one since Bosh.

I would move out Gay For Faried.

strategically move pieces to position for Marcus Smart. Kid is a winner. so much PG depth in the league, we can get him with a value pick mid lotto I bet (5-8).

Toronto Out - Kyle Lowry + Terrance Ross
Toronto In - Harrison Barnes + Richard Jefferson Trade Exception

Toronto Out - Rudy Gay
Toronto In - CV + Rodney Stuckey + Monroe

Raps Draft Marcus Smart (5-7th overall)

Smart
DeRozan
Barnes
Monroe
JV

*sigh* a man can dream can't he, although I would still dream of getting Wiggins lol and put him at SG because I honestly believe he's quick enough to play the position then S&T DeRozan for Bledsoe...

Bledsoe
Wiggins
Barnes
Monroe
Valanciunas

LOL if only there was any chance of that...I know there's slim to none. Although a bit on the fence about Bledsoe cuz I don't think he's much of a passer.

I am not sure of JV could play the four;
But it would be a lot of fun to see Asik and JV upfront.

However I think the Rox are going to want immediate help in exchange for him and likely at the four.

Aside from Amir I don't think we have much that could be of interest.

In that case I'd rather keep Amir. Asik is a nice player but if JV can't play the 4 we'd just be screwing ourselves over.

Yeah Asik and Val is great defensively but not a good pairing for the future as neither of them are that good offensively. I think the trade for them is Asik for Millsap. That satisfies both teams needs.

I was saying this the other day but I really think Smart's stock is going to fall this year. I don't see him falling out of the lottery but with all the talent in this draft, I don't see him staying as a Top 5 pick. He can't really shoot it all that well and he while he has a good first step, it's not elite. He's a decent defender though and a pretty good rebounder.. looks like he draws a good amount of fouls too.

Something about him kinda reminds of Lowry when he came out of college.

Nuggets need to rebuild. I wish someway somehow we could get Lawson on this team. Denver needs to probably trade Lawson and go for Wiggins.

Does a deal with OKC work with Gay, assuming he can play more mins at the 4?

Gay, Amir & Novak
for
Ibaka, Perkins & Lamb

Any interest?

I highly doubt they trade all their interior defence especially when they are in need of a shooter...as in one that actually makes his shots.
