This is when a win doesn't feel like a win. But at least we learned a lesson without the pain of the accompanying loss.

No matter how much the Cavs are fouled they don't seem to get calls. It really is a lack of respect.

Why? Waiters has been worse. He wouldve probably started jacking up contested threes and long twos.

Re: Cavs vs Wolves
Minnesota plays no defense, but the problem is, we're not really a good offensive team. It kind of reminds me of when we were building our time with LeBron and we used to play the good Phoenix team. It didn't really matter than they didn't play defense, we couldn't score enough to stay with them.
Minnesota might end up decent during the season, but I don't think they'll do anything if they make the playoffs. They just aren't good enough against the truly good teams.

Re: Cavs vs Wolves
I agree with that. They will be a playoff team, and look real solid, but dont play near enough defense to make much of a run. Still a really fun team to watch.
Good for them. They've gone through plenty of bad bball themselves, as well. Hopefully by the next time we see them we will be playing significantly better.

Do you actually cheer for the Cavs? You seem to hate every player and take no joy from them. I have no rooting interest in the team at all and even I am disgusted by your negativity.

Waiters was +8 with no turnovers. Kyrie had 9 turnovers. The Cavs had more than 20 turnovers. Waiters was on the bench when the Wolves went on their 17-2 run with 5 minutes left in the game. Scott didn't practice defense. I'm beginning to think Brown doesn't practice offense.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I'm beginning to think the key to the season is whether Brown will force Waiters and Irving to play with each other rather than just having them take turns.

Yeah it's no surprise we got the momentum back when TT re entered the game.
All things considered he's out best player right now.
He was 5 of 13 with 6 turnovers.

Re: Cavs vs Wolves
Tristans issues happened during the collapse. As did many of Kyries. I was thinking maybe we should have brought Bynum back. He was the most effective

1. Scoring - apparently we are last in the league. If we score under 90 we lose
2. SF position - No reason to keep Earl in for long stretches. Need more Gee and Miles
3. Contain KLove - I have Tristan keeping him around 22 points tonight
4. Dion needs to torch Kevin Martin - Dion goes for over 20 tonight
5. Anthony Bennett - Time to wake the rookie up. Look for Brown to get him involved early.
Prediction: Cavs win 95-87
Recap:
1. Scoring was better - but we all saw what happened. No need to mention it.
2. Earl did not completely suck - but Gee and Miles are proving to be better options
3. Good job Tristan
4. Dion not getting on the floor is getting annoying
5. I have faith in Anthony. Many people here were bashing Tristan and Waiters early on. I will stick by the rook - for now.
Best of both worlds with this win. It shows Mike Brown and the team they are a LONG way away from where they need to be. I equate this win with sleeping with the old crazy ass ex GF. You feel ashamed when you wake up - but hey you still got some.
