Two hours to draft time! This is already fun. I'm in the #2 spot and debating whether I really want Kevin Durant at 17 million. I mean, I do. But wow, that's 1/4 of my total player budget right there, and I don't get to pick again for a while... aaaugh.

Ooh, I had no idea the draft was coming up. I was expecting to get an e-mail saying when it was. Oh well. That's ok. I probably wasn't going to have time to prepare anyway, and it'll be fun.

Great job by Ill in moderating the draft. Trades will be made.

Thanks Illuminaire for handling the draft deftly and fairly. It's gonna be good!
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Teams still over the cap have to make cuts asap. Check your e-mails.

New Owner Needed:

Verbal hasn't been responding to emails or PMs, and he hasn't checked in to claim his team at all so... it is my regretful duty to seek out a replacement owner. :(

Anyone interested please PM me with an email address I can send the invitation to. There's a solid core to the team both now and for coming seasons, all it needs is an active owner to help it along.

That too, but that'll cost a bit more in real dollars.

Well, you did... I had to manually drop your worst/most expensive players, then hire back replacement level dudes. It was that or have you forfeit the week. ;-)

But yeah, your autodraft was pretty solid. You basically have OKC, lol!

Figured it would be too good to be true, I was just stupid busy the last 3 days I couldn't pay full attention to the draft and missed out.

I'm just glad you're here now!

Verbal still isn't, unfortunately... so we're still looking for a replacement owner.

I can offer you a gently used team headlining Derrick Rose and a beefy frontline of Aldridge, Noah, Drummond, and Pekovic. Also comes with number one overall pick and future star Anthony Bennett on a rookie contract, and reliable veterans like Vince Carter to help out on the wings.

Send me a PM with your email address and I'll add you today!

Added a brief summary of the draft and first week of action. Some interesting stuff from a team-building perspective!

My "screw FG% and turnovers!" strategy seems to be working alright, though I'm a tad concerned about the hole that is my starting SF position. That, and the more balanced teams might be able to weather injury storms better than my focused squad of sharpshooters, rebounders, and defensive connoisseurs. ^_^
