In total, 13 Major League players were issued qualifying offers by their 2013 teams prior to Monday night's deadline.
The World Series champion Boston Red Sox made qualifying offers to Jacoby Ellsbury, Mike Napoli and Stephen Drew. Their long-time rivals, the New York Yankees, extended the one-year, $14.1 million deal to Robinson Cano, Hiroki Kuroda and Curtis Granderson.
Carlos Beltran, Shin-Soo Choo, Nelson Cruz, Ubaldo Jimenez, Brian McCann, Kendrys Morales and Ervin Santana were also presented the offers.
