He's not a lock and no one possibly could be at this early stage, but so far, he's definitely been the most impressive by a long shot.

Chris Paul might finish as the second best player this season. So far he's been the best tbh

..no

4 games in doesn't dictate who the MVP is.
Otherwise last season it wouldve been Kobe

CP3 is amazing. Still a long way to go, but wow. Best PG since Magic.

If CP3 stays healthy, I can't see anyone else winning the MVP. He's putting up ridiculous numbers while Lebron is in cruise control until the playoffs.

Shout out to Kevin Love. 27ppg/14rpg with Minny (3-1)

If Minny finally stays healthy and breaks out, KLove will have a strong case.

After one week of action it is clear that the MVP is going to have a new winner. LBJ and the Heat are not overly interested in these awards this time around - it looks like their whole focus will be on getting back to the playoffs and taking home ring #3.

Chris Paul has been a flat out beast this season and he is my favourite for the award. KLove has been dominant also, but when push comes to shove, the Clippers will win more games and the improvement of the players like Redick around CP3 will make him look even MORE valuable.

Actually, after one week of action there's absolutely nothing clear, by definition.

LeMVP back in the mix with a monster game.
35points, 8 assists, 8 rebounds.
13/20 shooting.

As his team finally goes above .500

CP3, Love, and Paul George are the frontrunners right now imo.. I'm really curious to see if George keeps this up or if he's just having a hot start. CP3 I'm confident can maintain close to this level of play though.

Wanna know how good the guy is? I saw the statline as I couldn't watch the game and wasn't even impressed. LBJ ruined the all-around game for me just like MJ ruined the scoring game  I miss being surprised and amazed

Agreed. Love has less of a shot though. His team will struggle to make the playoffs while the Clippers and Pacers have a chance to win their conference.

Well I mean lebron isn't the fav if the season ended today lol but as I said before, durant and bron will join Klove, cp3 and Howard in the mix for MVP.

PG isn't in there imo..

Really? That's the best you can add to the discussion? I think LBJ could care less about the MVP and is concentrating on the journey to a 3peat, while Love, CP3 and others are balling out of their minds and would have to be frontrunners for the award so far.

But yes - dictionary definition states that nothing is clear.

You don't think George is up there?

If Pacers finish with the best record in the East and George has a 24/8/4 All-NBA type season, that isn't worthy of consideration?

And I actually think Dwight has little to no chance, honestly. Harden will steal votes + Dwight isn't gonna be the clearcut best player every night, especially if he doesn't get touches.
