GT: Spurs vs. Nuggets

Post#1 » by Nolan » Tue Nov 5, 2013 6:31 pm

When: 9:00 PM ET, November 5, 2013
Where: Pepsi Center, Denver, CO

We've a few days off but now its time to start another back to back on the road with a game against the Nuggets. The Nuggets have struggled so far this year so hopefully they don't bounce back against us tonight.

Go Spurs!!

I missed the first half but judging from the score I'm guessing I didn't want to see it.

The Pepsi Center scoreboard is friggin HUGE! Is that new?

Decent win! Danny Green still can't throw it in the ocean. Tony Parker's mid range game tore Denver apart. One of the things I love about the Spurs is that they use the entire floor offensively. If TP has a 15 footer he will shoot and make it. Timmy will hit a 12 footer if that is what he has. K. Leonard can hit that little jump hook.

Denver is one of those increasing number of NBA teams that's offense is either a 3-pointer or a dunk, nothing in between. That got them through 3 quarters but when they inevitability start missing 3's, they fall apart. I don't think we played a great 4th by any means (Ginobili and Green ice cold) but we won going away. Diaw played well again. I am getting to the point where I want him on the floor all the time.

Missed the game but it looks like we played terrible for 3 quarters but somehow managed to get the win.

We really had no business picking up the W on that one. We were lucky that the Nuggets went cold in the 4th.

Green subbed out within the first two minutes for Belinelli? Is DG in Pop's Doghouse? He is playing awful ball at the moment.

TD with the near trip-dub! 17-8-8!

Parker was amazing.

I think I saw Mills pass the ball in this game. That might be his first of the season.

Manu was bad.

Every time I watch JaVale play, I can't help but wonder what he could do if he had TD's bball IQ...
