If the Wiz lose this game does Wittman coach on Friday against Brooklyn?

Yes. No coach gets fired after just 4 games.

As of now, the Wizards have only lost 1 game that they should have won. Let's not panic here.

Randy would need to coach 5 games before he got fired... like Mike Brown last season

This is it people, the game that determines whether we start the season 0-8 or 1-7. Get pumped.

Go Wizards, get a win. Let's have a season worth watching beyond December!

One game closer to a desperation move by our management.

I've decided to start watching the Wiz after Feb. Then they will be one of the best teams in the league. Go Wiz!

Going with recent trends, you might want to hold off until April.

Away game. Athletic/skilled PF. Dynamic backup guards. It's not looking good for us.

Oh, that won't be the only one. We get to look forward to a slew of them considering how poorly we're playing. Including but not limited to: coach firing, making short-term acquisitions and, my personal favorite, all-you-can-eat-seats for $35.

my exact point in the optimism thread.

they can win tonight but not if they let Thad Young go off, or Hawes. MCW may be
good but he's still a rookie. Maybe I should be more worried but I'm less worried about him
than the 2 ^ and Evan Turner.

We need to be fiercely hungry for a win for the whole game.
We should have beaten them the first time. Now it will be that much harder
in their place and after they've beaten us once.

EJ got fired 11 games in to the season, after having made the playoffs four straight seasons. He was fired with multiple starters injured.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

EJ sucked.

He may have sucked to some. However, EJ sent several players to the All Star game. The team went to the playoffs for several years and the design of the game threads was 100% better.

Say what you want about EJ but this team has been a bottom feeder since he left. That's a fact.

EJ got fired 11 games in to the season, after having made the playoffs four straight seasons. He was fired with multiple starters injured.

11 games is different from 4 games. Also, EJ got fired specifically because they were a team that ownership believed was a playoff caliber team. That same team, minus Haywood, won 2 playoff games the year before.

And let's not rehash this argument. Hindsight pretty convincingly demonstrates that ownership was right to fire EJ. EJ has had zero success anywhere else in the NBA since. He was bad in LA and an abject disaster in Philly.
