GT: Suns vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Nov 6, 2013 11:59 pm

When: 8:30 PM ET, November 6, 2013
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Not much was expected of the Suns this year but so far with Eric Bledsoe at the helm they've looked like a pretty solid team and they have the record to prove it.

If we want to win this one we're going to have to keep Bledsoe out of the paint and keep Plumlee off the offensive glass.

Go Spurs!!

Spurs should be able to win this game pretty easily. Not sure if the Suns can stop all the depth. But, San Antonio better watch out for Eric Beldsoe

I think the Spurs are going to dominate this game. Not sure the Suns can keep up.

Closer than it should of been but we won. Green had a really good game though, hopefully he keep this up.

I know it's after the fact but I guess it was kind of expected to be close since the Suns are pretty athletic and it's the second night of a back to back with travel. Diaw started tonight and got a majority of minutes with Splitter only playing around around 10 min. Not sure if Pop had made Diaw a permanent starter of if he knew Phoenix's front line was that much quicker than ours with Splitter. Tony Parker looked gassed to me most of the night but he played well in the 4th.

I was a fan of the Diaw Splitter switch. Diaw's been amazing so far this year and Splitter was productive in the 10 or so minutes he played.

Plumlee - 15pts, 6 rebs, $1.21M a year.
Splitter - 9pts, 7 rebs, $9M a year.

I like Diaw to start games for us. And yeah, Tiago looked better off the bench against Phoenix's second unit.

Good to see Danny Green awaken from his coma.

I like this Suns team. The Morris Bros are solid, Bledsoe is a freak. Good thing (for us) that Dragic was out. He always slays us.

That Scola deal is looking pretty lop sided so far. Plumlee has been outstanding on both ends for the Suns so far.

The weird thing is, Plumlee was pretty average at Duke. His game seems to translate well into the NBA.

I agree. Diaw looks better as a starter with Tiago coming off the bench. Either start Diaw or start Manu. The starting unit is too dependable on Tony to do everything. I prefer Diaw start. Tiago is so productive as a backup but not as a starter.
