Why is everyone down on Shawne Williams

His play has actually been decent inspire of him playing out of position. Every game he is pulled at the six minute mark and can not get into rhythm. Everybody has missed shots. He deserves minutes, maybe not starting. But he deserves minutes.

Because Jordan Hill deserves the playing time that Shawne Williams is depriving him of. Shawne isn't that bad of a player, it's just annoying when he's taking PT from players who can actually help us win games. The rotations are still being experimented, however, and I expect any of the Shawne "hate" to die down once the rotations are set in stone and he is no longer starting.

I don't hate Williams. I just prefer someone else to get his starters minutes.

Shawne Williams is not playing out of position. He's more of a power forward than small forward. He's in a similar mold as to Tim Thomas, Cliff Robinson, Earl Clark, Antawn Jamison, those types.

He needs to just get his 3PT FG percentage up a little bit. If he shoots it above 33% then he's not a liability on the floor and serves his purpose as a floor spacer for Gasol.

I don't hate him, he's simply taking minutes from better players which is the problem.
