Here's some recent quotes from Granger on the situation:
“This is the last year of my deal. When you say ‘face of the franchise,’ Paul got the contract but I think we’ve got three faces, honestly. Roy, Paul and David – mainly Roy and Paul are really the faces,” Granger said. “Our team’s not built like we’ve got a superstar who’s going to score 25 points per game. That’s not going to be our team ever. Not with the talent that we have.”
“We’re five to seven strong, pass to the man for the open shot, play out of post,” Granger described. “Paul’s probably the most talented and will be here the longest … so yeah, from that aspect but as far the (other) aspect, multiple guys can take ownership of this team.”
When asked directly why he left himself out, Granger answered: ”We older. I’m 30. (David’s) 33, ya know what I’m saying?”
I'll also post quotes from every single player about them saying one thing, only for the opposite to happen.
As I said, we shall see.

Or you could admit you're wrong and have no clue about the Pacers. People said the same thing when the Pacers drafted George, completely ignoring the fact that Granger told Bird to draft him.
There are 2 options for the Pacers when Danny gets back:
1. Start him in place of Lance
2. Use him as a bench scorer
If he's starting in place of Lance, he's taking Lance's shots. If he's on the bench, then he's the lead bench scorer.
Even if Granger doesn't play a minute this season, George's shot rate will go down. We saw it last night because West and Scola had good games and George didn't need to shoulder the load (also tough going against Deng). The team is built on the idea that they have 5-7 guys who can score if needed, but George's usage will not go down. He is the team's primary ball handler and plays a bit of a point forward.
The idea that Granger will take shots away from George is absurd. George is the better player by far at this point and will get his no matter what. Granger knows this. You seriously think a guy who truly cares about winning and just watched his team come within one win of the finals without him will demand that his best friend give him shots? Granger's not going one on one with guys like this is 2010.
