We can make it a teaser with Lamb averaging 15+ points and 38%+ from 3pt. What do you say?

Seen in the comments on CharlotteObserver.com (About Gerald Wallace beeing on the trading bloc)

Charlotte Gets: Gerald Wallace (10/3yrs), Courtney Lee(5/3yrs), Future 1st round Pick
Boston Gets: Ben Gordon's expiring contract(13/1yrs), Brendan Haywood(2/3yrs)

Kemba/Sessions/Pargo
Henderson/C. Lee/Jeff Taylor
MKG/Wallace
McBob/Zeller/Tolliver
Big Al/Biyombo/Adrien

I would love to bring Wallace back behind MKG, he would bring a lot of fan back too.
However I don't like the idea of bringing Courtney lee who would make some shade to Taylor.

I'd rather do that : http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kw63lb7

Charlotte gets: Wallace + Marshon Brooks
Boston gets: Gordon + Haywood

That is a hideous trade. Gerald Wallace is washed up, and his contract is ridiculous. Id rather let Gordon expire than trade for Wallace.

Imagine Wallace next year, or the year after, at 10 per. Jeebus. There is nothing they have that would be worth Wallace's contract - esp. Brooks and some late 1st round Nets pick.

Now if they included their first next year unprotected than were talking. No way they do that though.

yep - considered that one off the table :D

I also don't like anyone on their team talent-wise - a bunch of tweeners and role players.

Yeah, I wouldn't take Gerald for free at this point (not even a year ago when he had just signed for $40M and wasn't an uber-washed-up role player). With his current level of play, you'd have to give me a pretty good piece to offload his contract on me, and it's a price Boston won't pay.

Now if he plays his way back into a 12/7 player with solid defense, it's something we'd have to consider, but we'd still need some incentive coming our way.

found this trade on another website

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=m4tcu2y

i would do it for Charlotte....not sure about the Bulls and Knicks tho

CHA gets-Kirk Hinrick 1yr 4.1mil and Iman Shumpert 2yr 1.7mil

NYK gets-Carlos Boozer 2yr 15.3mil and Marcus Teague 3yr 1.1mil

CHI gets-Ben Gordon 1yr 13.2mi and Andrea Bargnani 2yr 11.9mil

I guess Charlotte gets 2 solid SG's, NYK gets a rebounding PF and a decent backup PG and CHI gets scoring and shooting

I think Chicago would think about it, not sure if NYK would take on Boozers contract but he is a lot better than Bargnani, could throw in some draft picks to i guess maybe NYK gets a Chicago draft pick

Not that bad of a proposal, but what exactly does Charlotte get out of it? Despite his recent struggles & inability to really stretch the floor out to the 3-point line, Henderson is still better than Shumpert. There's no need to add stopgap players at this point for the Bobcats. If they can't find a trade for a SG with potential to be an all-star caliber type then they need to just let Gordon's contract expire in attempt to lure a RFA that could be a difference maker

That's brutal for Chicago. Downgrades across the board. Chicago should get Shumpert and keep Hinrich, we shouldn't be in it.

I won't complain from our angle of course.

What about something like this for our SG of the future.

Charlotte trade:

Jeffery Taylor+Portland first+Detroit first+filler(Haywood?)

Sacramento trade:

Ben McLemore

I value them picks due to the flexibility they offer us but I am extremely high on McLemore.

Would we or Sacramento consider or do this trade?

no way is McLemore worth 2 first round picks in a loaded draft, Sac would be dumb to not accept this trade

Admittedly I have always been really high on McLemore, I either wanted him or Zeller at #4 in the last draft.

I really value these picks but considering they will both be at the tail end of the lottery if we have them conveyed then I doubt we will get a player who has the upside of McLemore in those slots.

The reason the offer is enticing to Sacto is because they would need a very good offer to consider trading the guy they just drafted at #7.

McLemore is a freak athlete with a feathery stroke, exactly what we need at this point.

While I believe McLemore would be a fit, I'm not even sure he's going to be any more than a role player in this league. Gerald Green is a freak athlete with a solid three-point shot, but look where that's got him. I am not a McLemore fan. There's a reason he dropped all the way to 7. I'd much rather get Exum, Selden, Gary Harris, James Young, Smart, GR3, Harrison, or Hezojna before trading one of those picks alongside Taylor for McLemore, forget both picks.

Meant to quote this one.

The idea of selling low on a 20 year-old is dumb. MKG will have a much better career than ET or Lamb. It makes little sense to me why you keep wanting us to ship him out for so little value.

If we retain our pick than I'm fairly certain both of those 1st rounders (Det and Port) are going to be traded for a good young veteran since were loaded with young players as it is. Just have to figure out who that player might be.

That, or all three traded up for a really high pick.

I seriously doubt that any team in the top 3 would trade away the opportunity to draft who might be the best player in the draft and into the future of the NBA for 3 late lottery picks.

It's going to be interesting around the deadline when the bubble teams are going to be either looking to add talent to make that playoff push or trade out talent to enter the tank sweepstakes.

Who do people think the player could be or who are potential trade partners?
