...what? explain.

Up until game 7 he went head to head with lebron..righ or wrong?
And he was only 22...
Remember what happened the season after rose let the heat humiliate him in the finals?...
Expect the sane from george he actually put up a better fight than rose...and the bulls had a better team

What happened after Rose "let" the Heat humiliate him? IIRC, he had an injury-plagued RS, and then missed the playoffs with a knee injury. Never even faced the Heat that year.

Um wrong? Lebron had something like 29/6/8 on 51% shooting while George had 19/6/4 on 47% shooting (numbers might be slightly off, someone else can check).

even through only the 1st six games, it was still 28/7/5.5 on 51% vs 22/6/5 on 50%. Better but still not "toe to toe". And then of course game 7 was an obliteration, 32/8/4 vs 7/7/4

A lebron games in his prime vs a 22yr old 2nd yr starter...
And he put up 22/6/5 vs lebron 28/7/5 for 6 games...
now wht if George was In his prime
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

Here's some recent quotes from Granger on the situation:

“This is the last year of my deal. When you say ‘face of the franchise,’ Paul got the contract but I think we’ve got three faces, honestly. Roy, Paul and David – mainly Roy and Paul are really the faces,” Granger said. “Our team’s not built like we’ve got a superstar who’s going to score 25 points per game. That’s not going to be our team ever. Not with the talent that we have.”

“We’re five to seven strong, pass to the man for the open shot, play out of post,” Granger described. “Paul’s probably the most talented and will be here the longest … so yeah, from that aspect but as far the (other) aspect, multiple guys can take ownership of this team.”

When asked directly why he left himself out, Granger answered: ”We older. I’m 30. (David’s) 33, ya know what I’m saying?”

I'll also post quotes from every single player about them saying one thing, only for the opposite to happen.

As I said, we shall see.

Or you could admit you're wrong and have no clue about the Pacers. People said the same thing when the Pacers drafted George, completely ignoring the fact that Granger told Bird to draft him.

There are 2 options for the Pacers when Danny gets back:

1. Start him in place of Lance

2. Use him as a bench scorer

If he's starting in place of Lance, he's taking Lance's shots. If he's on the bench, then he's the lead bench scorer.

Even if Granger doesn't play a minute this season, George's shot rate will go down. We saw it last night because West and Scola had good games and George didn't need to shoulder the load (also tough going against Deng). The team is built on the idea that they have 5-7 guys who can score if needed, but George's usage will not go down. He is the team's primary ball handler and plays a bit of a point forward.

The idea that Granger will take shots away from George is absurd. George is the better player by far at this point and will get his no matter what. Granger knows this. You seriously think a guy who truly cares about winning and just watched his team come within one win of the finals without him will demand that his best friend give him shots? Granger's not going one on one with guys like this is 2010.

Honestly I didn't read one sentence of this because this convo should've been over the moment I typed "we shall see"

Since when did Paul George become the second coming of Pippen lol? He shot 42% last season for crying out loud. His numbers look nice so far but the first above average team he's faced so far he shot a putrid 6/19. Calm your tits.

For all the hype about his elite defense he was still devoured by LeBron in last seasons ECF. The best player on that team is Hibbert for me.

I think they mean his defense reminds people of Pippen's. although in reality we all know pippen was a much better defender. But you're absolutely right regarding offensively.

That's my issue here, rushing him to giving him a title.
Let the guy PROVE first before jumping the gun. Makes no sense AT ALL.

Paul George is just overrated I guess.

Sad thing is when you try and explain it to someone they think it's trolling when all you're doing is giving an unbiased opinion contrary to their biased opinion.

George/Hibbert = the next Kobe/Shaq?

PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.

Yes because we know every team has the defense of the Bulls LOL. ITs not uncommon that good players have great stats against the NBA fodder teams while when they go against the NBA elite defenses they merely put up average stats.

Point is I don't see his numbers dipping too much since his confidence is at a all time high and more importantly he is playing on the road much better than he did last year which was the real drag in his efficiency.

Not to mention his stats were a bit skewed last year due to his first 2 months where he played poorly on offense.

But we should take Lebron seriously when he has Wade and Bosh? Or CP3 who has Griffin? Or Dwight who has Harden?

Sense, that post makes none

Idk where you geniuses get this bull from where a guy, whose usage % is high, and is the unquestioned go to guy, will apparently somehow not demand the ball because a few fans have a Paul George fetish.

I mean honestly dude.

G-Menn, it's 2013 going on to 2014. This is George's team now. Granger is a 4th option at best.

2011 is in the past.

Welcome, to the future.

People do seem to make a big deal out of nothing. Granger will be integrated slowly and he knows that the only way he probably stays on this team past this year is if Lance plays himself into a contract beyond what the Pacers can afford and Granger is the guy who gets to play 4th fiddle on a contending team next year.

I don't know "what if he was in his prime" but that wasn't really the question, it was whether 23-year-old George can go toe-to-toe with prime Lebron and there is zero reason right now to believe that he could.

People giv lebron too much credit....if mike, hakeem and Barkley joined together in their prime and took a backseat to mike...his averages would be though the roof, even though they already are...people forgetting how good wade and bosh were and nah I ain sayin wade and bosh barkley good but the concept of 3 top 5 picks on the same team in a loaded draft

Btw harden and dwight the next kobe and shaq...

So that teams gonna win a championship?
You take durant off okc, they make the playoffs.
You take Jordan off the bulls (which happened) bulls were ONE shot away from the eastern conference finals. WITHOUT JORDAN.

as I said.. You CLEARLY don't know what you're talking about. Just stop pls. It's starting to get annoying.
