Can someone explain this : When Kobe or Jordan act like this on their temates you say it's leadership. When it's Harden and Howard you say they are toxic....

Kobe and Jordan in their primes generally gave full effort on both ends.
Harden simply wants to ISO, and pat his PPG numbers, and Howard is well...... Howard.
Howard gives full effort on both ends of the floor, but he isn't very skilled as an offensive player. Just look at Pau Gasol, he is very skilled, but last night he was like ZERO. Sucked in O and D.
Harden has to improve his D, but when he was in OKC he was a good defender. I guess he isn't the kind of athlete like Kobe or Jordan who can give 100% on both ends. He needs to work on it or use PED.
People act like this guy aren't humans. Maybe the coach should try to decrease Harden's responsabilities in Offense and give him more rest instead of waitting for Harden to be the heros in Offense. It's the exact same situation than Kobe last year. Kobe used to be great on both ends, but now he can't give it. He was horrible on D. Who's responsable for this?
In my opinion, Kobe wasn't gulty for the most part, the coache was. If you are the coache you have to manage your players energy.
And look at LeBron James, he isn't the athlete he used to be, but he can give 100% on Offense and 100% on Defense, because he doesn't have to carry his team on Offense. Paul Goerge is in the same situation. They move the ball, they just wait their time to shine in offense.
How can you expect a player like Harden to do what these super-athletes can't do?
McHale is gulty for this. This is why you have to give Howard more touches or plays for him. This is why you have to have good systems and ball movement. He isn't a great offensive player, but it can help Harden. D'Antoni should have made the same thing last year with the lakers. He made the same mistake with Nash and Amar'e in PHX. Don't expect them to give effort on D or ask them to use PED.
