if anyone is being overpaid, it's asik or dwight. and it's not asik's fault that houston signed dwight, who is a similar but better player.

i would be surprised if lin and asik are still with the rockets by the end of the trading deadline.

If you mean Greg Poppovich that would be ideal for Jeremy imo.
JLin on the Spurs would be devastating coming off the bench for Tony Parker.

The Spurs style of play caters really well to Jeremy's play.
Hard gritty defense, with a solid well structured offense. There always great at sharing the ball.

Everything Jeremy loves to do.

Oh an not to forget no prima donnas to worry about.

ya I completely agree, just being in a better situation overall.

But as of right now, I'm taking all this talk about Lin being bullied as a grain of salt and Lin himself doesn't get to the NBA without being to hold his own.

Knowing all the drama that is already attached with the players on the Rockets, I'm going with that it's currently being blown out of proportion. It's just to easy to blame Howard and say Lin sucks.

Oh Im definitely not questioning Jeremy's will.
An nobody should as well.
Dude fought through alot of adversity and racism to get where he is today.
Whatever people say about him is coming whether warranted or not.

Last year they had a pretty well oiled machine with him, Harden, Parsons, and Omer.
Now with the chaos of pleasing Dwight it all went to hell.

If I was Jeremy and Omer ASIk I would be hoping to get traded.
The pieces are just not cohesive together.

Harden might just be one of the worst defenders in the league. He may as well run down the court and cherry pick once he sees a screen.

So the guy who shot 1-10 and only scored 3 points in 34 minutes gets no blame?

The guy who missed a ton of key free throws when getting intentionally fouled gets no blame?

The guy who inbound passed it to that guy who missed a ton of key free throws when getting intentionally fouled gets no blame?

The guy who always ballhogs, never plays defense and never actually does the plays gets no blame?

Agreed!

Sucks that some kids got killed by this but at the same time its' being thrown around too loosely.
Like we Americans are raising our kids to pansy with no backbone.

I got bullied in high school I just found alternate ways to get even.
Like sleeping with their girlfriends or mothers.

James Harden just lit into Jeremy Lin for his last shot. Beverly and McHale had to signal to him to calm down.

Dwight Howard misses 11 free points at the line and the reason they lost is Lin took a bad shot? Ironic on a team with Harden.

What was this last shot anyway? From what I remember Lin wasn't even involved on the final play.

And before that didn't Harden just dribble between his legs for 24 seconds and not even try to score?

litex wrote:Btw, while I 100% agree that Howard and Harden are being whiny bitches, and that Lin doesn't deserve this ****, I question whether this can really be considered "bullying." Bullying to my mind is stuff like the Incognito situation with players threatening each other, or even some of Jordan's old antics with punching teammates and the like. This doesn't seem like abuse, more just like Harden and Howard are scapegoating Lin for their own screwups.

We're probably going to see this alot. People are a slave to trends and even though guys get yelled at all the time it's all of the sudden "bullying" its a new trend in sports with this Incognito thing so now people are going to use it all the time.

So, It was Lin's fault Howard is a 50% free throw shooter and Harden is a ball hog that has not played a lick of defense?

I'd be traded if they pulled that crap with me. Pull your own weight before blaming someone else.

These guys are coming off as cancers than stars.

Last shot as in Lin's last shot. Forgot what happened, but Parsons passed the ball back to him with less than 3 seconds left. It wasn't a bad shot but a bailout.

I can't tell which is a more poisonous combo, Harden-Howard or Kobe-Howard. I still think Shaq-Kobe takes the cake when it comes to playing the blame game.

Not to mention he barely hounded whoever was inbounding the ball that led to the Blake 3.

Shaq and Kobe won titles. Kobe won titles on his own. Everywhere Howard's been, a destructive locker room rears its ugly head.

The funny thing is, Howard-Harden should be a perfect (or very good) match. Harden excels at PnRs and that's where Howard is most efficient. However, Howard wants to be a post up player and Harden has shown that he can be selfish and his playmaking may be overrated.

I love how we all are making it seem like Jeremy is suffering enormously when in fact Jeremy is swimming in his cash vault of $31 million dollars somewhere in Houston like Scrooge McDuck

To the people saying "The league is too soft", "man up", etc etc, I don't think anyone has a problem with teammates or coaches yelling at each other.

The issue is accountability. If the guys ****ing up are yelling at the guy who didn't **** up, it means they're not taking responsibility for their own play, like Harden's isos and Dwight's inability to close out or shoot FTs. It's poor leadership and it's crappy for the locker room. Same goes for the coaches.

Google Popovich yelling and you'll see him yelling at Duncan and Parker all the time. I have no idea why Harden and Howard are getting a free ride given that they're both signed to long-term deals.

1. How do the refs not call that foul on Nash? That's a foul no matter what point of a game.

2. Dwight and Harden lashing out at Lin is hilarious. Harden was my favourite player last season. Now it seems his head has grown to epic proportion.

Watch Lin call the play at 0:07 and get totally ignored.

Mchale is mostly to blame imo. It's a coach's job to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I get the feeling that some of the Rockets players (i.e. Parsons) resent Lin for his contract.
