can't do that. Organization will take the superstar player's side over the coaches. The only thing you can hope for is for other players to start holding Harden accountable for his D.

I wish Lin just threw Nash to the floor when he got held. Just get the foul the moment Nash held him and take it to overtime.

And no I am not blaming Lin

nobody will call a foul on future hof-er Nash in the dying seconds of a close game. some posters will throw everything incl the kitchen sink just to pin the loss to Lin. smh

I was saying Lin should have fouled Nash. And I was attacking in any means just saying I wish that had happen. Which this lose is not on person or two. Did not watch the game but a few minutes in the fourth so I have no real opinion

That is a flagrant foul. Lin can't do that. Any foul before the ball is inbound is considered flagrant foul.

yeah still early...they should be able to correct that perimeter D saturday....just need harden to get whipped up into that D though...

LOL ouch...

also notice

Howard needed to step over and force Nash wider... Since Gasol put a pick on Lin, and slowed him down a step

If Howard had done that... he would have at least made it a harder backdoor pass

Well I not calling him to put an elbow in his head just enough to get a foul called to make Nash shot free throws.

this is a smart veteran move by nash...they almost never blow the whistles on last plays like this from what i've seen in the past...even if they did blow the whistle, the lakers were down by 2 anyway, so really a win-win situation for the lakers.

yes that was a smart play by Nash... with the talent on this team it should never have come down to a last shot anyways

he can still play an important role on this team...

just have Lin and Asik play the second team...

but

Mchale should just play the starters for 8 minute stretches

and then sub in 5 new bench players... including Lin and Asik

I just like how the league claims it is cracking down on moving screens. Apparently holding someone is legal though.

Lakers beat us. As annoying as I find that, they set the scene by torching us in the 1st. McHale does need to vary his rotations a bit, and not be so dogmatic.

Gasol is a shell of his former self. Lakers should trade him away for whatever they can get. He flat out sucks now. I give him another 2 years in the league tops.

ok my mind has been going on and off about this game, esp harden's no defense bullsht

when nash was holding lin, lin should've slammed nash to the ground. in those situations where someone's holding you or w/e, u gotta force both of you to slam into the ground. even if the refs hold their whistles, u let the player know that bullsht is gonna cost you a bruises in your face or a dislocated shoulder or w/e. i mean smash him to the ground, as hard as u can. not saying its lin's fault we lost, i've gone in detail aboutt his game in my earlier posts, so ease up lof's

harden's no defense bullsht is huge. one of the worst things bout the team. he's gonna get 35+mpg. he got exposed by jj reddick of all the motherf**kers in the world. this is serious.

coach can't get everyone on the same page. that missed shot from lin with 1:20 left in the game was cuz no one wanted to run a play. if mchale thinks harden iso is the only play for late game situations then rockets will struggle in close games

dwights ft's aint a problem. he should be demanding the ball mroe in the post, that is a problem. but his freethrows is what it is. if the team is gonna play like they did vs the lakers, he's not gonna be there mentally at the ft line.

twin towers STILL HAS A CHANCE TO WORK! yes i said it. BUT, if this team cant get their heads out of their asses, twin towers will only make everything worse. the only way for the twin towers experiment to be sucessful is if everyone is on the same page. dont know how that can happen the way things are going

NEVER INBOUND THE BALL TO DWIGHT IN A CLOSE GAME WITH 2MIN LEFT! even if he made his hackadwight freethrows, it doesnt matter

LIN IS A FKN BALLER! its not his fault harden doesnt wanna run any play other than harden iso 1 2 and 3. for now, when it comes to late game plays, and the team actually agrees to run a fckni play, im most comfortable with the ball being in lin's hands.

u should all thank the basketball gods that the season just started. lord have mercy on the rockets souls if they pull this **** halfway into the season. i need to smooke some

Harden by far is the best player on this team...he needs to lead by example on offence and defence...that being said, Machale cant be playing him 40 minutes a night...or he is going to get injured...

this isnt the playoffs...

I am going to assume Harden is resting on defence... having to play so many minutes

depends on how you view bigs who suck at fts.

yes, dwight should be able to make more than 5 fts when he shoots 15-20 of them no excuse there. but that game the whole team (the coach too) wasnt there mentally, and havent been the whole season. if dwight isntt there mentally then his fts will suffer.

Don't we all miss Yao's freethrown. Best freethrown center even the best freethrown player in the rockets' team back then.

Can't, ANY foul before the ball is inbound is a flagrant foul. Nash would shoot free throws AND get the ball back.

It was also a catch and shoot, by the time Blake caught the ball it was pointless for Jeremy to foul.
