No, Just Basketball is a Me sport.

When a guy plays 44 mins a game and pretty much the main scorer on that team, he doesn't make mistakes.

Lakers loss is on everybody else but James Harden.

Nobody else on that team even cracked 20. Until somebody on that team is cracking 20 points a game , or put in the minutes Harden put in, I ain't gonna criticize Harden, he does all heavy lifting.

All everybody else gotta do is play defense and don't make mistakes and they didn't and they loss.

End of story.

Look at that team chemistry. Now? Lol Dwightmare and James Incognito taking over.

If this happened on the Knicks, Tyson Chandler wouldn't let this crap happen because he's a true leader of men unlike Dwightmare.

I've read through some of the comments, but I don't want to go through 10 pages so if this is cover, my apologies.

Is it me, or is Steve Nash holding on to Lin and if that is the case, shouldn't there have been a foul call on Nash? Having said that, I await as Laker fans will want to flame me for even suggesting it.

it was a smart play by Nash.. refs did not call a foul...

blame goes to the players who did not switch... as Lin was being held

A lesson, next time he should act in a way that would certainly warrant a foul call. I would have liked to see him lean forward with Nash holding on to him. Would make a quite funny scene, especially if it leads to both falling down.

last year they had no real expectations, this year because of Dwight they have HUGE expectations... everybody is feeling the pressure and so everybody is quick to point the finger... this is natural but it should be tempered by a good coach which McHale is not

The funnier thing is that fact means nothing on a basketball court.

Hahahaha. That was worse than Malone holding Drexler in 97' to send Barkley and the Rockets home. The funny thing about this play was that Nash had one hand outside the shoulders and another handful of jersey, that would be twice holding even in football, let alone basketball.

I wouldn't go so far as saying it means nothing.

Probably smarter because he understands and perhaps visualizes things better. Intelligence definitely translates onto the court.

Takes intelligence to see and understand things, and skill to make them happen

Not saying that Dwight and harden are idiots though

It's different when you stand out from most of your teammates and the league. Take for instance, Jonathan Martin grew up with both a mother and father who went to Harvard and he graduated Stanford. Jeremy graduated from Harvard. They questioned Martin because he's well spoken, educated and grew up well like Jeremy. Majority of their teammates grew up in different and poorer demographics which leads resentment to the point where the Dolphins bullied Martin similar to how the Rockets bully Jeremy.

Look at Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat. He's smart, well spoken and well thought out whereas LeBron and Wade are the polar opposites. You get away with this type of bullying similar to how a fat person can get away making fun of a skinny person, how a short person can get away with making fun of tall people and how poor people can get away with making fun of wealthy individuals.

Lol. The Rockets would have won if D12 could hit some **** FT's. Dude still hasnt learned. Maybe he should practice his FT's instead of dressing up like a clown for each game. What center needs 2 shooting sleeves?

Sports IQ and awareness has nothing to do with normal IQ.

Being a dumb **** doesnt mean you can actually be awesome at sports. And the other way around, being a brainiac nerd doesnt mean you are good at sports. In fact, this is usually not the case. Of course you can have both things though.

Messi is probably the best soccer player ever and he is one hell of a re-tard.

It's ironic because he's the only likeable guy on that team right now.

First of all Lin should have been on Blake's hip there, poor IQ on that play

Second of all Lin fans are always bashing Harden and before him Melo for their play style calling them selfish yet they want Lin to have the ball 100% of the time running around in circles waiting for something to happen.

Isn't that in turn selfish as well

Should Houston mix it up, yes they should but Lin hasn't proven anything that warrants him being the man or even a top option on that team.

Lin needs to play D, move the ball to his stars and hit open shots

Lin couldn't handle the pressure of being in New York, then couldn't handle the pressure of being the starting PG in the city he CHOSE to be in. He needs to put on his big boy pants and earn the money he's being paid, which may then earn him the respect of his teammates The Knicks dodged a large caliber bullet when he decided not to sign there.
All in all he's just another prick with no wall

Huh? He broke out in New York, and he averaged 13/6 as the starter on a playoff team in Houston... how was he not able to handle the pressure?

this is like a real non-story as we're talking about the 4th/5th option on, like, the 10th best team in the league. what the hell!?!?
i can't even remember the last thread about kevin love or lamarcus aldridge but you have threads about lin "getting bullied" with 15,000 clicks?
hope lin is fine and houston psychologists work it out with him. tough days for poor lin.

I'm not Asian, but I'm a big Lin fan and I make videos about Lin. And I can attest to how popular he is.

I think when the team went to Asia for the preseason, McHale said something like "half the world" is rooting for Lin. That was an exaggeration, of course, but the point was a good one as regards Lin's popularity.

I didn't say he was selfish but his fan base has been killing the likes of Harden, Melo, JR, etc for being ball dominant guys and wanting them to adapt to Lin so he can play with the ball all the time

My point is in turn isn't that selfish as well if he has the ball the whole time and they have to sit and wait for him to pass it when in reality dude looks off guys a little too much for a point guard

as far as him being bullied, if thats the case, I think they're only being tough on him

LeBron and Wade yell at Chalmers all the time, its made him a better player so if Lin cant handle it maybe he shouldn't play for a team trying to become a contender and just send him to a bottom feeder so he can pad his stats, continue to be "Linsanity" and everyone can be happy
