The Lebron Thread (2013-14 Pt. 1)
Old thread left off here.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

Underwhelming game from Paul and Lebron, but Wade was on point.

Sore left hand in first quarter fall + Wade making jumpers = LBJ great game not even needed
Stop being so disrespectful.

Would like to see more of Wade playing like this again.

Seriously, If Wade can stay healthy these playoffs, lookout rest of the league. His jumper looked good today and he was playing with energy.
I never get how even in bad games like tonight LeBron ends up with 18/5/6

LeBron better get himself fully conditioned during this home stand.

Didn't really catch too much of the game, but from what I saw, Lebron looked pretty active defensively

Makes sense now that I think about it. He was getting stretched all throughout the second half.

Don't remember him having back issues before

I think it was the fall he took in the first quarter I think it was, or early second, when he dived for the loose ball near half court.

Hopefully the back is not a serious issue.

Everyone gets nicked up a bit in the season. Hopefully not serious though.

Yeah, hopefully. Although anytime it's anything to do with back or knees, it makes me uncomfortable.

It's back spasms, he said he's dealt with them before and it's no biggie

Well apparently he's been dealing with back soreness for the last few weeks, so that explains the stifness toodles was talking about and why ge looked better physically earlier in the prreseason.

Man... I think this really perspective on things, to be honest. We take Lebron's health for granted most of the time given that he never gets hurt in a way that would keep him out of a game. And when he plays slowly or inactively, it's always because he's "mentally not there" or something.
I feel embarrassed. Basketball is tough on the body. Knowing Lebron, though, this shouldn't last long.

http://espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/story/_/id/9933080/lebron-james-miami-heat-dealing-lower-back-soreness
MIAMI – After Thursday's win over the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat forward LeBron James admitted that he hasn't been his normal self on the court lately due to lower back soreness that's bothered him over the past "couple" weeks.
It's not the first time James has worn the heating pack during games this season, and he's been working with the Heat's training staff to correct the issue. Though he said he felt fine to start Thursday's game, James indicated that his back "locked up" in the first quarter after he turned the ball over and dove for a loose ball, colliding with Clippers forward Jared Dudley.
"The good thing about it," James said, "is that it's not the first time I've had a back issue so I should be all right."

Gonna be a strange feeling as a Lebron fan watching this game. These Lebron vs. Boston matchups used to be red letter games, but now it's basically over. Feels strange.

Definitely going to be strange watching Lebron play against a Celtics team without Pierce.
I'm expecting a blowout, Celts are on the 2nd night of a b2b on the road. Lebron to finish with ~20 points.
