Our backcourt is hurting us, Im not in love with Cheeks rotations- but Joe D is the genius who thought that having nonshooters like Bynum, Stuck, Jerebko wouldn't hamper our perimeter play.

If Cheeks is too stubborn to start KCP, Joe must trade for a 2 guard that can shoot. We are one piece away from being a very good team IMO.

Right now, the best thing about this season has been Greg Monroe- he's playing great on both sides of the ball. So far I like Jennings but his shot selection is still questionable at times. I feel similarly about Smith. But Greg? He's
been so efficient offensively and is putting so much more effort into the defensive side of the ball. He's our best player IMO. As for Drummond, yesterday was his first bad game but I'm liking what Ive seen from him thus far.

Bynum hurt us, once again he went too far in looking for his shot. Yes it looks great when he finds it every fifth game. If he would just play within himself he'd be fine with this 2nd unit, besides Jennings he's our biggest threat in the pnr with Dre. I don't think our stretch 4 has hit a three all season. I like Datome, but I'm not sure if he can play there against some teams. We are missing plenty of open shots that guys should/would normally make. Despite this we've still pushed 2 of the best 5 teams in the league.

I know there are people out there saying "its just five games" and trust me, I do understand feeling out your team, and getting rotations down.

That's fine.

The problem I have is when a team is in the midst of a massive run, you never, ever, just let it play out on the floor, with bench guys. That's not learning the players, and rotations, that's, I don't know what that is.

Cheeks also does this thing, that drives me nuts;

Start of the 4th quarter, same group is on the floor. Damn. As soon as it starts, here comes one of our starters waiting for the next pause. Why? Why wait the 15-24seconds for the next stoppage in play to re-insert your starters, or next player?

It is the dumbest thing he does, and it makes zero sense.

Cheeks is a **** coach - we all knew that when he was hired. He was the worst coach hired this off-season. An utter retread, completely uninspired. And all this talk about his high character because he sang the national anthem with a kid went out the window with his domestic violence spat and info about it.

Give me Philly's coach, Atlanta's coach, Boston's coach, Charlotte's coach - they didn't hire retreads that literally nobody else wanted. When was the last time Cheeks interviewed for a HC gig before Dumars fell for him?

I don't think this is fair at all. He sucked last night, but that's it.
Everyone seems to expect him to perform at a high level each game and while that is should be his goal, he's only a young guy and he's still learning. Consistency will come.

Anyone concerned since Jennings arrival that he is shooting a high volume amount of shots averaging in the low .300 and as a result Drummond's numbers have gone down?

I wasn't able to watch the game, but could tell Detroit lost this game because of foul trouble.

OKC winning the boards (due to fouls) made all the difference last night.

No, I've actually liked Jennings so far. Needs to convert his shots a little bit more but so far Hes looked good.

We are exactly where I thought we would be through 5 games. Winning the gimmes. Competing against the greats.

Your right on there. I would like to see some player substitutions that made sense though.

What I don't like is Singler in guarding all these great 3s for long stretches. At this point, I would rather bench Singler and bring in a guy who can defend 4s, leaving Josh available to guard The Durants of the NBA.

Not at all. Jennings has actually been really good so far and has played within the offense. The OKC game was the worst game Dre had but it was because of foul trouble, not Jennings.
