I wouldn't be suprised to see jimmer get major minute's. He played with great effort. He doesnt have the talent or athleticism to be a good defender but I think he is buying into malone's philosophy and trying. And right now I think that will go farther than talent.

I'd like to see McCallum get some minutes. The kid can play, and if Vasquez is not playing to his potential then his minutes should be forfeit.
It seems to me that between the pre-season and regular season, the best teams we put on the floor had some combination of DMC, IT, Jimmer and the McRookies. You might even through Outlaw into that mix. I was a little perplexed by the coach's starting lineup decision at the beginning of the regular season.

What do you guys think of Patrick Patterson's play this season? The book on him was that of a good shooter, good character guy but subpar rebounder.
This year, his rebounding hasn't improved and his shooting touch has been cold. When Malone talked about guys not rebounding last night, was he referring to Patterson (who had 2 rebounds in 27 minutes)?

Gotta love coach Malone. So far he is showing he is the right man for the job. These guys need to be called out. I fully expect to see more of McRookies. I think we can all agree that we've seen enough of Marcus Thorton who adds absolutely nothing on defense.
Lastly, IT continues ignore a wide Ben McClemore smh. I know that's everybody's boy, but you can't ignore the obvious.

I don't know what everyone is expecting from this team. New owners, new coaches & same old Kings. Until they blow up this roster get used to losing. Just be happy the team is still here.

I have to keep reminding myself of this. The Maloofs were still the owners just 5 months ago. Vivek & Co. have done a marvelous job so far, but the Maloof stench is still all over the roster and that takes much longer to clean up.

That's IT though, and that's why he's not a good fit in the starting lineup next to Cuz either. Potentially great as that "sparkplug" for the same reason though. Just have to wonder how he and Landry will coexist. On paper that's two legit 6th man of the year candidates.
