I think that is a terrible comparison. Bosh is David Robinson without arms or legs (and I like Bosh).

Bosh and D Rob have similar volume scoring faceup games. Bosh from further out, Robinson a little more variety because he had the strength to mix in some power stuff. It was only a comparison in how they like to score. Bosh is obviously a much worse all round player. I certainly wasn't looking to make a defensive comparison. :D

What exactly is the difference between him (David Robinson), and say a guy like Ryan Hollins, who is 20 lbs heavier and can get his head over the rim? He would get in foul trouble so quick, just trying to hold position.

Actually, I agree. I didn't fully watch the vid before I posted it. I thought it would show more action.

He went for 32-12 with 6 blocks. The video only shows 14 of his points and doesn't show any of his D other than the one block. I'm sure there will be a video at some point that will show all of the action.

Sure, but he wasn't remotely close to a top 10 player as a rookie. I don't doubt his talent, but I see no way he keeps this up this season.

Still there are a lot of awful big defenders in the NBA right now and it seems like he's figured that out and is punishing them. Don't imagine he'll get 20 points or so in transition every night though.

What was your take on Davis entering the draft?

Was super high on him, as I still am.

My point wasn't that he's not awesome, my point was that he's going to need to do it for more than 5 games before I call him the 'best big in basketball'.

Durant posting up wings is free points. He just took the most casual shot over Martel Webster.

Someone in the Bucks organization needs to take note of Anthony Davis' ridiculous improvement from year 1 to year 2 and draw the conclusion that it means that they need to give Giannis serious exposure to the game this year. That doesn't mean that he needs to play 35 mpg, but he needs to play. The kid is a gamer and looks to have top notch basketball instincts. In many ways, when I saw Giannis in the preseason, it reminded me of AD last year. AD was very raw, but was exposed to a lot of basketball over the course of the year (as well as the Olympics).

The Bucks only hope at this point is for Giannis to become a star. Sanders is likely going to be looked at as a good defensive presence but overpaid, as he will likely be a liability on offense. Henson will need to make some serious improvements in his game to be a guy that actually registers on the radar of any "future plans." That is literally it. Other than that, you are just excited that the 2nd round PG you got looks like he can run an offense and play in the league.

Basically, the only hope this currently constructed roster has of anything is Giannis. His development should trump all, and I think the Bucks would do well to look at Anthony Davis's jump from year 1 to year 2.

I can't even imagine what it's like for Portland fans watching Durant play.

They're doing lines and drinking coffee. They can't keep their heads still long enough to see what's going on.

Tough L for the Wiz. Not sure what Wall is, but Beal is the real deal.

It's absolutely delightful to see the T'Wolves up by 26 on the Lakers in the 1st quarter. Make that 28.

Bledsoe watch. Suns up by 6 on the Hornets with 4 minutes left. Bledsoe with 19/4/5. 4 turnovers as well but very efficient 19 points.

Rubio and Love just played as well as two players can for a quarter.

It keeps getting worse......Suns will go to 5-2 with their win tonight. Bledsoe with 24/6. He's single-handedly dragging a lot of middling Bucks type draft picks and vets to a winning record.

im way more depressed about us not getting Bledsoe than I am about the Harris trade

as someone who was pushing for him since last season seeing him playing how I knew he could is so bittersweet

I was a pretty middle of the road poster up until November 2008. At that time Lopez was breaking out all over while Potsie was getting DNP's. I knew then that Hammond was an incompetent stooge and got angry.

Over the years of the Hammond disaster, I've tried to keep the frustration in check, but apologize that it keeps coming back. I realize Kohl is the problem, but he's employed that boob Hammond to run things for six years. Watching that video link......ah ****, I can't take it anymore.

Bledsoe's change of direction at speed is just stupid. He's got a big career ahead of him at SG.

Bledsoe really was the prototype guy we should have taken a risk on. Of course Knight is also a similar type of guy. We chose poorly.
