I can't give Bucks management the excuse that somehow Knight was an equivalent catch, even though I know Duke is going to break out that line shortly.

The league watched Bledsoe have some dominant performances last year and have guys like LeBron rave about him. And he was buried behind a hall of fame PG on a team run by bad management in the Clippers. Those whole board knew Bledsoe had some serious upside to him. We all wanted him last June/July. Knight was a complete afterthought.

Yep, none of this is hindsight. Wanting Bledsoe, not wanting to trade Tobes, and wanting Curry over Ellis. It's just a shame that in pretty much EVERY non-draft related move our GM can't make the right decision. I don't know how people still defend JH.

Bledsoe's 62% TS will go up after tonight's game where he shot 7-11 and 8-9 from the line.

If they get the #1 pick I don't know how anyone can say the NBA isn't rigged

Watch out for Boston too. I'm sure the NBA wouldnt mind Wiggins in Toronto.

LA, Boston, & Philly all get a 2014 stimulus package.

Realistically had a shot at a Bledsoe/Knight/Evan Turner offseason instead of Ridnour/Mayo/Butler. That and we hired another coach that's almost exactly the same as Skiles was when we hire him.

Phoenix got two steals in the Summer - Bledsoe and Plumlee. Be nice to support a franchise that goes out and gets young talent. They didn't even give up much for them.

Let's not forget we could have gone after Tyreke Evans instead.

He's had a Charlie Villaneuva-like drop off since his Rookie season.

So does Miles Plumlee end up being the better of the two brothers after all?

I don't know if he's as good as some of the box scores he's been putting up so far, on a young team that can get up and down an athletic freak 7 footer could get some double doubles in his sleep. That said throughout college he never showed much, he only got drafted in the first round because of his pre draft measurables and I don't think anyone would've been surprised if he went undrafted if he didn't have that 40" vert, then Indiana gave up on him after one season. He'll be interesting to follow.

Markeiff Morris is playing out of his head, too. 17/7 on a league leading .628 FG% in 28 MPG.

You have to love a lot of these young teams showing early season success. It gets interesting if their GMs let the season play out and win what they can, or they make talent cutting moves. I could see Milwaukee, Washington, Charlotte and Cleveland in on some of the guys playing well for Philly and Phoenix.

For example, would anyone deal a top 10 protected pick for Young or Turner?

I don't really want Young's contract and we could've had Evan Turner before the season for our 2017 1st top 15 protected I believe, but apparently our FO's stance was that we aren't giving up any 1st round picks unless we are getting an all-star in return, lol. Idiots.

Eastern Conference been really mediocre so far besides Indiana. You know Miami will turn it on soon, and would have to imagine Brooklyn and Chicago too. I haven't watched a ton of Bulls ball, but has Rose looked good and healthy? If he struggles, there is already tension with Thibs & Front Office, that could turn into an interesting situation.

:eek1: I think CanadaBuck was the only one that was hoping we'd overpay Tyreke, but his biggest problem is that the Peli's think he's a SF when clearly he needs the ball in his hands to be effective.
