Re: Clippers Rockets
Looks like Houston is gonna be a good matchup for us, well played game. I'm scared that our bench is getting heavily outplayed every game to the point that the starters are having a lot of trouble to climb back when they're put into the game, but that was to be expected with our big man rotation. I hope they do something to address it.
I like that DJ is active and confident, and filling the stat sheet, but he's still got a ways to go to be what we need him to be, his interior defense is still lacking a lot and opposing teams are bringing it to him with no fear at all, and he's not yet been able to be the intimidating big man in the paint that we need. Still, I like that he's confident and working on the right things. I loved that Doc ordered to hack Dwight right after they started doing it with DJ, it helps show him he's not the only one with that weakness and he has his team behind him when others try to exploit it.
I of course love how our new wings are working out, I knew I would the day the trade was made, Redick is just a perfect fit in our offense and I think Dudley is being heavily underrated, he's the perfect glue guy that makes almost everything right on both ends, he doesn't need a high usage to be ready to step up and will make shots in a variety of ways when it's needed.
Still a long way to go for our team to be as good as we hope for, but I like how things are evolving. Really need to address the big man depth somehow though.

Re: Clippers Rockets
Dudley is actually having some knee issues btw. He's been playing through it since August
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-cli ... 0321.story
So if anyone is wondering why he's been a step slow in some areas, this is part of the reason.
— Clippers small forward Jared Dudley said he had an MRI exam Friday on his bruised right knee that was negative.
Dudley said he was having a "tough time bending" the knee so he wanted to see a doctor to know that "mentally" there wasn't a problem.
Dudley said the kneecap was rubbing against a ligament and that has caused some inflammation in his knee.
"I can't really bend my knees the full extension," said Dudley, who had nine points in 27 minutes against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. "I could only bend the knee up and down 70%. It's hard running and bending my knees to run. I can't really move on the defensive end like I want to."

Good find. I wonder if he'll sit out some games to rest up once Barnes is back to normal.

The sad thing is that they haven't even played 10 games yet.
