Game 6: Pistons @ Blazers 10PM EST

Post#1 » by ComboGuardCity » Mon Nov 11, 2013 10:32 pm

The climb back to .500

Jennings vs Lillard
LMA vs our 3 headed monster
This would be a big statement game for the Moose going up against a good front court on the road.

Hoping to see more of this:

Let's start this road trip with a W, but I wouldn't be surprised if our guys don't seem like they want to play.

im not sure what to think about this game. i feel like we are the better team, but we are on the road and portland is generally a very good team at home. i dont see any way batum, aldridge, lopez can control smith/monroe/drummond. but at the same time, its been the 1-3 positions that can shoot that have beaten us. portland have all 3 positions filled with deadly shooters. wes matthews is on a tear early this season, and lilliard and batum are very consistently good players. im worried they might shoot the lights out, but if we control aldridge and keep scoring inside on them, we should be in the game the whole way.

Where's Dan? I thought he did all these?

Lillard vs Jennings
Batum vs Smith
Monroe vs LMA

All interesting match-ups. Portland is off to a 4-2 start, and looking like a playoff caliber team so far. This will most definitely not be a pushover win for Detroit. They better bring their A-game tonight. It's a winnable game, but not an easy one.

This should be a good game. I think we're a better overall team, but it's the first west coast game and portland aren't a bad team.
Lillard and jennings will be a good match up and will be key to who wins the game.
Monroe v LMA will be great to watch too.

If kcp can get some time just for his defense alone and dre comes out energized, then we have a shot.Another thing we need is to defend the perimiter better and bynum nor billups will get that done, thats why we need kcps defense, this should be a win.

This'll be a loss, but I'd like to see what Monroe and Drummond can manage.

The only thing I'm worried about is Portland raining 3's on us. We've sucked defending the perimeter so far but if we can limit their 3 point shooting I think we win this one.

True.
Stuckey starting with KCP behind him helps that though. Lets see what cheeks does.

Please for the love of God, give KCP some PT. Let him help out with the perimeter D instead of watching Bynum and Billups pretend they're bullfighters.

Portland read the scouting report. We don't defend the perimeter.

You know, it would be nice to have someone on the court who can guard the perimiter, I love chauncey but he shouldn't be a starter.
