Timmy is not playing tonight.
Second game of back to back against an athletic team. I'm thinking it will be much like the Phoenix game. Hopefully we win a close one but would not be surprised at all if Sixers win.

Few too many turnovers in the early minutes. But we've looked good on both ends.

always great to see a 24 point win on the road while Timmy rests, and TP plays less than 30 minutes

I should stop predicting stuff.....
Actually, I should keep predicting close games so we blow people out. That's two in a row!

TD with the rest.
Danny stays hot from deep.
Ayres is pretty useless aside from hustle and energy. He has basically no offensive game at all.

Hopefully some of that could rub off on Splitter...

Only caught the first half but i'm pretty sure that's all I needed to see. Green's on fire from three and Splitter actually had a decent game on the offensive end.

Re: GT: Spurs vs. 76ers
I don't like our bigs rotation. Outside of TD and Diaw, the rest are not really impacting games. Splitter is okay off the bench, but who wants a $9M a year bench player? Baynes and Ayres are non-factors, and Bonner can't get on the court. I actually wish we kept (and used) Blair. I know that he regressed since his 2nd year in the league and benefited from a change of scene, but I've caught a couple of Mavs games and Carlisle is playing him the right way.

Yeah. He's too passive. He gets a great entry pass in the post and he hesitates or goes up soft, like he's expecting to get his shot blocked.

I'm starting to think he's still shook from the finals.

Same here. I've caught a couple Mavs game too. But Blair doesn't play this way with us. Atleast not when he was coming off the bench. I didn't really mind Blair as a starter other than when we're facing the Lakers with Bynum Gasol. Againts everybody else, it wasn't really a problem. But with us, Blair was intent on showing off a post up game and a mid range jumper that he just doesn't have. The last couple season, how many times do we see him post up and then he faces up the opponent and shoot the flat footed jumper? OFTEN.
In the two games I've seen in Dallas (watched that game only because I saw Blair had a big game and wondered how he looked), he brought energy to the 2nd unit with hustle and he's focused more on playing P&R. Againts bench players with weaker defense, Blair can score easier in the paint with his "usual" double pumps at the rim and he obviously is one of the better rebounders in the league especially againts bench units.
What I really don't get is why Blair can't be used at PF like Faried or any other PF with no range. Dallas are also using him at Center, which make their second unit incredibly small. I forgot the announcer, but even he's saying that our Small Forward (Marion) is taller than the Center.
