If Gordon averages around 18ppg 5 and 6 for the season i might pay 10mill a year for him, would have to ship Gerald out tho dont wanna pay a bench player 6mill

With the contract extension that Gordon Hayward is asking for, I think you'd be greeted with the same amount of opposition

Well we would have him this year and could match offers and keep him next year. This off season showed that teams are wary of the new cap restrictions and wont overpay (wing players at least). We would be in a position to offer him the best deal he would probably see, which I'm guessing would be around 9 million per year if he keeps his play up. Or we can sit around and keep watching hendo shoot faders..

I would love to see the bobcats try to acquire Iman Shumpert. The knicks severely undervalue him so we might be able to get him cheap. They do not need scoring as they have plenty of that already. What they really need is defense and rebounding so maybe dangle Biyombo and the detriot or portland pick for him.

No thank you. As much as I sometimes despise Hendo I wouldn't even trade him straight up for Shumpert. It would be beyond stupid for us to trade Biyombo and a pick for Shumpert. I wouldn't even trade the pick alone for Shumpert. I think your proposal is a terrible idea and reasoning.

no way would i trade Biz and a 1st round pick for Shumpert, most i would trade for him is a 2nd round pick unless it is a multi team trade in which we keep all our main pieces (MKG,Kemba,Biz and Zeller)

I like Shumpert and would trade for him for the right value.

He has great size for an off gaurd and can defend the 1/2/3, he is a good ball handler, he can playmake a bit and rebounds well for his position.

He has the perfect size to play in between Kemba and Gilchrist and his shot has improved extremely well since he joined the league.

No way in hell I'd trade him for Biyombo straight up let alone adding a pick but I'd think long and hard about trading the Portland pick for him.

Anthony Tolliver+Portland first for Iman Shumpert.

NYK is definitely not the right place for Shumpert to get the opportunity to prove how good he is imo, he's not a big enough part of the offense and is made to be a spot up shooter most of the time (which he definitely isn't)

He shot 4-8 against us the first game we played but Melo continued to chuck bricks.

Young Minnesota players Derrick Williams and Alexey Shved are available in deals for veterans to help these T'wolves now, league executives told Yahoo Sports.

Maybe they would accept Sessions for Derek Williams.

Wouldn't do it. Would definitely be interested in Williams trade but not one at the expense of our sixth man AND a good 3&D prospect.

No, we don't need to pay Derrick Williams $6.3MM next season.

Yes. I would accept. Sessions is a FA that we might lose this offseason so I don't care about paying Williams $6.3 million. Williams would replace Sessions as our sixth man and Price knows how to distribute the ball or score with a second unit.

A.J. Price is the very definition of a scrub.

He's not that far of a drop off from Ramon Sessions for a $4 million annual price difference

Clifford is a coach that want to refrain from small ball lineups and keep continuity with his starting PG as the floor general. That's the reason why Sessions' minutes per contest have been decreasing this season compared to last season

Are we looking at the same numbers? I wouldn't want a player with Price's numbers on the court at all, whereas Sessions has proven (more so than Kemba, honestly) that he can be an effective scorer and distributor, at different stops in his career with different roles (starter vs. reserve, primary vs. secondary ballhandler).

I would only consider a replacement level backup like Price if I had an elite starting point guard.

I like JJ Barea he can do everything Sessions can do and he is a better passer and shooter,

MIN gets Sessions and Taylor

CHA gets Barea and maybe Shabazz or another cheap player to make money closer
